My husband and I have frequented Mallow on several occasions, and it's undeniably secured a spot in our top three favorite restaurants. Here's why:

Firstly, the culinary experience at Mallow is nothing short of spectacular, both in taste and presentation. Each dish is a testament to the chef's prowess and creativity, making every meal a memorable one.

Secondly, its location is incredibly convenient, being a mere five-minute stroll from London Bridge. This proximity adds to its appeal, making it a perfect spot for both impromptu and planned dining adventures.

Thirdly, the ambiance of Mallow is as delightful as its menu. With an interior that radiates elegance and charm, the staff's warmth and the vibrant presence of the host, Bianca, elevate the dining experience. Her energy and hospitality make every visit more special.

Lastly, a piece of friendly advice to anyone planning to visit: secure a reservation whenever possible to ensure your spot. And no matter how satisfying the meal, always save room for dessert. Their sweet offerings are the perfect end to what is guaranteed to be a fantastic dining experience.

I took two non Vegans to this gorgeous Vegan restaurant and they loved it! The decor is food for the eyes, while you wait for your food and drink and you don’t have to wait long. The food and drink is top tier, it feels like Michelin level cheer (I’m not sure if they have).

Veganuary! This is the perfect spot. I dined out with two confirmed carnivores who love their food. They absolutely loved it as did I and didn't miss non plant-based food. Great menu selection and glad to see there are no 'meat substitutes', just imaginative delicious plant-based dishes. Oh, and a good wine and drinks selection. I will return with others. Thanks guys. Six dishes, two sides, bottle of wine + service - £40 a head.

The most amazing meal - one of the best I've ever had in my life.
We chose the Christmas tasting menu with wine pairings and every single course was an absolute delight, in its presentation, textures and taste. The wine pairings were also fabulous.
We were given a great table and the service was so welcoming and friendly with great explanations of each course.

My second visit to Mallow, and it didn't disappoint! The menu is so varied with unusual flavour pairings and influences drawn from many cuisines and techniques. We ordered a range of small plates to share, which left me room for the delicious poached apricot & panacotta dessert. Don't miss the bread with flavoured butter either, definitely a highlight! And great to see they have a beer to pair with food, a collaboration with Unbarred brewery - a nicely rounded pale ale. Warm and welcoming service also a trademark. Already looking for an excuse to visit again soon!

Who new vegan food could be so good? Having grown up in the San Francisco area, I was sure I had seen the best vegan restaurants had to offer, but those I've visited before don't come close to the gorgeously plated dishes served at Mallow. Great, bold flavors. Excellent options. Very friendly team. Our only wish is that there was an easier way to see photos of the dishes listed on the menu because some are hard to imagine (a good thing, but nice to pair with photos!).

One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in London. Literally never had a bad meal here, everything is incredible. This time we decided to go for a taster style experience, ordered each of the 6 small plates and the wine taster, and everything was incredible. Oh and they overheard that it was my birthday so they surprised me with a cute birthday card and chocolates too! Cannot recommend enough but do book ahead as it is super popular!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times, most recently for the Christmas set menu, they never disappoint! The food here is always amazing. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, even my non vegan friends love it here. Highly recommend!

What a stunning spot for vegan brunch. The chocolate pan cakes, beetroot smash burgers and hummus are out of this world. Found a spot at the bar after a busy Saturday afternoon wait. The staff is friendly and prompt. Must try!

Exceptional! The small plates (we had one of everything) were amazing! So tasty. The food was very good, it's all plant based, but even a meat eater would be very happy, it's delicious! The service was amazing too! Special mention to Gabriel, he went above and beyond. We shared the starters and he offered to add an extra item to some of the dishes that only had 3 pieces (there were 4 of us).

Absolutely delicious plant based dishes! We ordered nearly all the starters to share between 2 and we were stuffed. Even the sourdough bread was incredible!

I loved every second spent at Mallow. The amazing and cheerful staff greeted us, we had a fabulous table, exactly what we needed for our Book Club. And the food was beyond expectations! I just would like to add but this is on a personal note, I would have added one more slice to the french toast 😁 but that's just me, I eat a lot from the food I enjoy ❤. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This is one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was superb, and the food was better than I ever imagined vegan food could be. The chorizo croquettes were incredible, the rosemary sourdough with pine nut butter was delightful, and the chick'n burger was so good that you could hardly tell it wasn't real chicken! I've never had vegan meat with such a perfect crunch on the crust. Seriously, don't leave London without trying this place if you're vegan or vegetarian!!!

We had a lovely meal at Mallow. Inventive, interesting and totally delicious vegan food. You could happily take a carnivore here and I bet they wouldn't miss meat one bit. We loved being able to order anything from the menu rather than searching for the VG symbol. Beautiful space, overlooking Southwark cathedral. Service was a little slow, but we were happy making an afternoon of it.

Great vegan restaurant with a mix of dishes from all cuisines and a decent wine selection also by the carafe. Small plates and starters as always are the best.

Make sure you book! Aesop in the bathroom is a nice touch! I’d recommend

I visited mallow for Sunday brunch with a couple of my girlfriends. We absolutely loved everything about our visit . The taste of the food was incredible, the presentation had the wow factor, the service was perfect - neither intrusive nor absent - exactly the right level. The cocktails were perfect, and the wine waitress was also fabulous. Everyone made us feel so welcome and we weren't rushed through our meal, and managed to have a fantastic catchup as well as meal. I am gluten free as well as vegan and the allergens menu was clearly marked. The thali in particular was delicious, especially the dal. The ambience was lovely as well - loved the decor of the restaurant. The toilets were also well designed and clean. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a perfect afternoon!

I had the most wonderful brunch experience at Mallow today. It was my first visit, and every aspect of the experience was exceptional. From the friendly, knowledgeable staff, to the absolutely delicious food - it was absolutely sublime, and I can't wait to come back. I had the full English followed by the creme brulee and didn't leave a single bite. Thank you!

P.s. As a teetotaler, the alcohol free options were great too! Really appreciated the inclusion of 0.0 Bellini on the brunch cocktails list. Very tasty.

Mallow is an absolute gem near borough market and is currently my favourite vegan dinner place (ever!) We ordered the thali big meal, with okra fries + gyozas for starters, and mocktails/cocktails. Everything tasted absolutely delicious and unique - it was clear thought was put into the flavours and setup of every dish. Portions were great as well! Ambience is so cosy, and the service was warm. Definitely a great place to have celebration dinners too!

My girlfriend & both work in restaurants. This usually means that we notice e v e r y t h i n g that's wrong. However, I have to say that Mallow was brilliant.

The service was nothing short of excellent. For each of our 3 courses our napkins & cutlery were replaced, our water was topped up when needed. Our waiter (who was on her first week and did very well) recommend an orange pinot which went well with our meal. The food was well spaced out yet still came in a timely manner.

The food was fully vegetarian, but it used this as a strength to create dishes that were creative, exciting, and had a real depth of flavour. Unfortunately, I felt grapefruit overpowered the beetroot on one of the small plates.

The glassware was elegant, everything was clean, the bathrooms were tidy and aesop soap was used in the washroom. The music suited the vibe, and it was not too loud. The service is general was precise & efficient but still relaxed. An absolute steal for the price!

Basically, all of the small details were absolutely on point and contributed to a great night.

Thank you for giving us a nice table for my girlfriend's birthday, and for the chocolates at the end. It was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be coming back!
