Been meaning to visit for ages as I’ve heard lots of good things and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were really nice and the food was lovely at such a reasonable price. The Veggie Muffin was filling and very yummy. The atmosphere and decor was good whether your upstairs, downstairs or outside. Lots of parking marked with a Dovecote sign. You can book or turn up on the day. We turned up just after opening on a Sunday and there were plenty of tables free. Will be definitely coming back!

Delicious brunch menu! Really lovely setup and ambience. Either arrive really early or book for breakfast as it gets busy quickly! Would definitely visit again, and try more of the menu. Affordable prices too!

This was our first visit to The Dovecoat Eatery on a busy Thursday before Easter. The staff were super friendly and efficient and all the food was lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit and we will be going back again very soon.

1st time visitng and we were there for breakfeast. Prices seem fair and food arrived really quick. Food was really good and tasty, very rustic and great atmosphere. Will definitely return for the food.

One small issue that we experienced on arrival, staff weren't really helpful. We stood at the door and they just walked past, no communication from them at all. Wasn't sure if we could just walk in and sit down. Other done that, all good.

Me and my family including little doggy came into Dovecote for lunch on Christmas eve. We didn't need to book. Been here before and love the ambience and relaxed feel. Food I'd always great and fresh. Special coffees and hot chocolate are to die for!

I have a bacon, brie and cranberry on sourdough baguette and was very nice. The bread was delicious.
My son had the loaded fries and was a perfect portion for him.
My husband had the dovecote breakfast and throughly enjoyed it. We had a bit of a wait but didn't mind. We also had a cosy table right near the heater.
Great that the place allows dogs. Staff really nice too.
Would definitely come here again.

Family walk with the dog today and a healthy little snack for one of them... no lunch needed today!!

Update.....

I was a little disappointed by the range of cake today, it looked a little depleted. So I reluctantly selected a BrownieCookie and was pleasantly surprised. It was excellent.

Great place, great location and great food. Cannot fault this, I was recommended to try this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. The service was nice and quick, everything tasted really good and the prices were just right. What more can you ask for? I’d recommend booking ahead.

Visited with my friend today and we both had a delicious breakfast. The young staff were really polite and and I was impressed with the ambience and the location. The hashbrowns were absolutely amazing and and they had a lovely selection of cakes too! I will definitely come back

As good as we've had many times before. High standards of food quality, portion sizes, staff friendliness and efficiency, and the price is right! Nice to go back, and looking forward to next time. 😀

Tried this place for the first time this morning. We’ve often visited the Cams Mill but never strayed up into cams estate before. Along the creek and into the central business area signposted for the Dovecote. Plenty of parking and a few other people running and walking through the parkland and golf course.
Lots of COVID signage and a menu next to the order window. Good breakfast menu and drinks options. We chose a breakfast wrap and sausage and egg muffin with hash brown plus two coffees, about £13. Wrap and muffin were great! We will definitely go again. If this has been useful, please like 👍🏻 😃

What a fantastic place to eat. Staff were great, the food was lovely. I had a dovecote breakfast which was presented very well, everything was cooked perfectly, one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. The cakes here are also absolutely fantastic. I had an oreo cake and it was delicious. This is definitely farehams version of the 10th hole. Definitely recommend a visit.

Just had a really great birthday brunch here for 40 guests. The food was really good quality and exceptionally tasty.
The staff were really professional and made everything run smoothly even with a large and complex batch of orders.
Really couldn’t recommend more for an event or even just a casual breakfast.

What a hidden gem. Lovely cafe, lots of tables. Chose your take number then go request the food at the bar area. We had cooked breakfast, pulled pork baguette, fried egg sandwich and sausage sandwich. Coffee was delicious and smooth, milkshakes were delicious so my boys said. First visit but won't be our last. I love the fact they serve breakfast all day.

Decided to stop off at the Dovecote Eatery on my way through Fareham - and I'm so glad I did. All of the pieces of my breakfast were exceptional, and for £6.25 very good value.

The setting is beautiful and airy in the gazebo and the service was second to none, with Lorna in particular paying extra attention to ensure I had a great dining experience.

I certainly hope to return if I'm ever back in the area!

Omg, the triple cheese chips were out of this world! Crispy and full of cheese, absolutely delicious. All my friends enjoyed their food too and the hazelnut milkshake was also 10 out of 10. 100% recommend!!
