Harvester Buccaneer Fareham

We have started to come here every Wednesday lunchtime. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Anne is lovely and really good with my two year old twin boys. Food is always quick and hot and tasty. We cone slightly early so that we can order from the breakfast menu. Good prices

Great service, we were greeted on the door by a lovely lady who took us to our table (we didn’t have a booking). Our waitress Leleana was very helpful and answered our questions throughout the evening. The food was delicious and the chips portions were very good.

Fantastic time waitress made are day food fantastic as well as the price would recommend this restaurant in port solent don't know the name of waitress but she drop the cheese then a tray she is a credit to your restaurant.

Popped in for breakfast, came out hot, fresh and tasty. My server Anne was chatty, friendly and helpful.

Great full English (normal not large) with bottomless tea and coffee. Can't argue with that all for under a tenner.

When we arrived we were met by a very friendly hostess who booked us in and showed us to our table. The waitress who served us was also very friendly and helpful. Our excellent meal arrived as we ordered very well cooked. The Buccaneer is an excellent place to eat and highly recommendable it may have been our first visit but it won't be the last.

Had a lovely breakfast this morning. My husband was disappointed that they have stopped the make your own breakfast and it’s a shame drinks aren’t included with breakfasts anymore. It’s also a shame the breakfast bar isn’t available anymore like the salad cart still is. My daughter was looking forward to that. Although we had a lovely breakfast and the service was fantastic, it does feel like it’s less value for money. But I also get times have changed any everybody is needing to make cuts and increase prices at the moment to make a profit. I’d still recommend and go back again myself.

Food was lovely. There was 8 of us and we didn't have to wait long. Prices are reasonable and our server was very attentive

Food was good value for money. Staff were very friendly and made sure we were happy with food and had enough drinks for our chilled breakfast. Would definitely be back.

I had a lovely meal at the harvester Katie who was our waitress for the evening was very bubbly nothing was too much trouble :) had a great night will defo be returning :)

I organised a breakfast meeting today at the Harvester - we needed a decent sized table, plug, WiFi, good coffee and food - and it did not disappoint. Food was lovely, service amazing - Anne was super helpful - nothing was an issue! Thank you :)

Plenty of parking split between front and rear of property. Slightly steep entrance off of main road so advance indication needed to prevent rear enders.
Some outdoor seating and a small bar area immediately to the right of the entry door. Wait at desk to be seated. Not too busy on a Thursday lunchtime, so we were quickly directed to a prepared table adequate for our party.
Annie took our drinks orders straight away, before I had time to view the beverages on offer. These arrived promptly and main meal orders were selected. It is possible to swop many items if required i.e. chips to replace mash. We were also asked if the were any allergy concerns.
All meals were without fault. 2 medium steaks, a bbq belly pork, chicken stack and a double dirty combo.
Deserts were also polished off. Cookie chaos, chocolate fudge cake and a sundae waffle.
Nice to see the salad bar making a return, but we have all learnt not to overfill.
Well done all concerned.

Haven’t been to this Harvester in a long time but was really impressed !! Clean, tidy and the waitresses were lovely , it’s really upped its game !! Food was delicious , Will be back :)

Absolutely incredible experience. We had a disabled family member with us, and they had accessible parking spaces which was lovely. We were greeted kindly with no wait or funny looks to our disabled member, and led straight to our table. The lady we were served by was so kind, and made sure we were happy with everything. Another family member wanted a flat bread that was only made until 5pm, so she was fine with a burger, but the waitress told her they would make her the flatbread! We thought this was so kind as in other restaurants we’ve been told no without any hesitation. She also acknowledged out disabled member and didn’t act like she was invisible. The food is incredibly tasty with a wide variety, as well as an excellent salad bar. Only tiny complaint was the amount of screaming toddlers, however this isn’t down to the restaurant themselves. Incredible, will be returning.

Came in last Saturday for lunch was very busy but our server leleana was very attentive and made sure we were okay food was very yummy will definitely be back again soon.

Leleana (sorry if I spelt wrong) is a brilliant waitress. She was refreshing, friendly and had a laugh with us. So much fun. It was natural not forced. Service was quick and she was on the ball. She made our experience great. Glad you do plain chicken for simple as I have been to some where they don't which really annoys me
