Stayed at the dragonfly for a weekend working away and I tell you now the breakfast was well prepared and looked/tasted good. Upon check in till check out the staff were brilliant smartly dressed and all round lovely bunch.. & oh the most important thing the rooms/bathroom are worth more than the money your paying to stay.

We recently stayed here for a wedding in the area. We needed to get there a few hours early to check-in before the wedding, the staff were very accommodating in making sure we had a room ready when we got there. We were also upgraded to make this work which of course was a nice bonus!inside of the hotel is very modern and well maintained. The bed was really comfy and the room nice an quiet. Breakfast was good, exactly what we needed for a wedding hangover. Would definitely stay here again.

Kelly on reception the night porter is the most helpful person I’ve encountered . She went above and beyond to assist me with me with my endeavours. I would high recommend this hotel for anyone out of town.

Nice clean rooms, warm and cozy. Breakfast was ok, evening meals was good, staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed at this hotel whilst on a course very clean and peaceful. The three lady staff members were awesome treated you like family always had a smile and a bit of banter very smartly dressed. Breakfast was bit hit and miss but did the job

A pleasant stay at the dragon fly hotel. Upon entering hotel was extremely clean and inviting. Terri was on the desk and she helped us do everything we needed to do. We paid cash on arrival no problem. Had a few drinks on the conservatory. Prices little steep but okay to have one. We had two double baileys total cost was £18. We opted for a Deliveroo and paid £18 for a bottle and took to the room. Room very clean. Nice size too. We had a lake view. Very appealing. Iron and ironing board in room which came in handy. Bathroom very spacious. There’s no main light in the bedroom so was a bit dim come the evening and getting ready. Shower nice and powerful. Overall a very pleasant stay. Bed comfortable and check out easy. Parking is free. Allocated smoking area. Breakfast was lovely. Help your self buffet breakfast. Would stay again. Thank you!

Lots of easy parking. Very welcoming staff on reception. Has full on site restaurant and bar. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable and had good, clean linen. Decent size TV. USB outlets for charging tablets and phones. Usual tea and coffee making facilities. Room was clean but the bathroom was below expected standards. Multiple hairs in bath and a nasty mouldy corner on the bath seal. Tile grouting was also very manky. The included breakfast was a self service buffet. Being a veggie I didn't have the bacon or sausage but more than made up for the lack of veggie alternatives with larger portions of other items. Plenty of choice. With the exception of the bathroom it was a good stay.

Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day.

It was a last minute booking. Perfect. Verry good room. We will be back

I stayed the night of the 28th June and I found this hotel really good on all counts Inc the restaurant, really couldn't fault the place and the parking was good. As for the staff I dealt with. Chelsea and Monika were amazing and an absolute credit to the company, they were so helpful and polite at all times unlike a recent stay at a premier inn.

I spent a night at the Dragonfly hotel this week (not my first stay) and could not be more happy with the service I had received!! I had arrived with my partner to a lovely, smiling gentleman that really knew what he was doing and I could see he was working very hard on his night shift. He directed us to our beautiful, extremely well priced room. The room was so clean and nicely set out. When we'd come down the next morning to check out we were greeted by two lovely ladies who when we'd finished, wished us a great day. Later that day I realised I'd left two of my rings in the hotel. I rang up and the lady on the end of the phone was excellent!! More than happy to post them to me!

I highly recommend this hotel! If you want outstanding customer service and clean and tidy rooms.

Really lovely staff especially the lady who runs the kitchen in the morning, she was like Ray of sunshine and catered very much to your personal preference of breakfast , just delightful , overall we enjoyed our stay no complaints 😀

Great! Outlander loves to meet new Chargepoints. Make sure you pay for parking if you have come here to charge your electric vehicle. You must pay to park even if you are not visiting the hotel. Says you can register with reception but I sure the ANPR cameras won't care and you will receive 100 pound fine. Have a physical record of parking here with photographs and a ticket.

Decent beds, a good-sized tv, and lashings of HOT bath water (worth two stars by itself). The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are a few minor quirks, .and the breakfast could be improved, but overall we were satisfied and believe the rooms are good value.

Very good hotel to stay at. Plenty of free parking for guests. Breakfast is all you can eat with tea,coffee or juices. Rooms are ensuite with a big bathroom. Big flat screen TV on the wall. Good bar and restaurant food is very good too. All the staff are very friendly and will do their utmost to resolve any issues you may have.

Lovely comfortable warm hotel, spotless and staff friendly and helpful. Very generous Buffet breakfast offer and products good quality. Our group of five ladies would definitely recommend to others
