Stanway Post Office

A lovely local store. They order stuff for me & keep it on one side. Pandit was great through COVID lock downs & has been very helpful since i gave been in hospital.

Great little post office and convenience shop, run by very friendly helpful people. My favourites have been the breakfast bars and Eccles cakes. An easy place to stop for a snack or drink on a walk of the local area. Support your local shop!

The store itself is quite small and has no dedicated parking, though you can park on the road outside (plenty of space). However the person who was running the store, specifically the post office part was extremely friendly and chatty. They were very helpful in getting my parcel sent off as I have had no end of problems with other post offices. This will be my go-to store in the future.

This little Post Office is easily the best one to use locally, the couple who run it are so helpful and kind, they will go out of their way to help you, I will happily wait in a long queue outside (it is small) rather than go to either of the 2 alternatives. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I have lived locally for just over 2 years now and used this lovely little post office for the first time today. I always for some reason used the marks tey post office but due to the rude staff there I decided to try this one. What a friendly lovely little post office this is. Nice to know there are still some good local shops with friendly staff that still exist!

If you print a label at home be careful and make sure you take a picture of the weight of your parcel as proof because they change the weight of your parcels at the store and laugh and accuse you of putting the wrong weight to make you pay for another label in store. Realised this when I left and went to the other one down the road and apparently this has happened to people before.

I have sent my complaint to uk post office and Royal Mail to make them aware.

Will not use this post office again. They are so slow and have no concept that perhaps their customers do not have the time to wait whilst they amble around.
The woman who is usually behind post office counter should be replaced she is so painfully slow. When I went in the queue was round to the door. A man was behind the parcel counter not serving customers. When he had finished doing whatever he was doing, he walked away. Another man was behind the sweet counter filling up the cigarette shelves. No concept of customer service at all.

Will never use again. Change their prices on weighed postal items every day and when questioned they laugh!
