Mio Restaurant & Bar

Small family owned and run. We made reservations for 5:30 pm to ensure we had a table. The best meal I've consumed in London. Ten minute walk from Westminster Abby. The food is fantastic to the palate and the house wine is tasty as well. I recommend the Puntaneca, my wife recommends the ravioli. There were three of us in the group. Try the espresso martini as we thought it was great. We thought prices were reasonable as we had a bottle of wine, two martinis, spiced olives, three appetizers, and 3 main dishes.

The restaurant was fantastic, with delicious food and incredibly friendly service. If I had stayed longer in London, I would have definitely come again. I highly recommend the seafood risotto.

I was a solo traveller attending a conference in London, what a lovely intimate restaurant. I was made to feel very welcome and served beautiful authentic Italian food with a smile and very reasonably priced. Great experience 🙂

We were given a table near the door which was very draughty. We asked to change and were swiftly moved, to then enjoy one of the best Italian meals we have experienced. Service was very efficient and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend heartily!!

Real Italian food. The chefs were Italian. Had Ragu and my wife pizza. Both were super good.

My son and I had lunch here last week. Lovely, small restaurant just off the beaten track. Always packed. We were greeted well and all service was excellent as was the food.

My son had the mushroom cream bruschetta and I had the burrata. The mushrooms were succulent and the sauce was wonderful. The pizza bread was gobbled by us both.

My son’s pizza was delicious as was the linguine. I wanted to lick the plate.

The kitchen is viewable by the customers dining and what a treat to watch the pasta and pizza chefs work.

Mio has a lovely atmosphere and the food is some of the best Italian I have ever had.

And although we didn’t have the calzone, my so remarked on how delicious it looked.

And for this part of London, the prices are very reasonable.

Mio is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food quality belies the prices. Plus, if one desires, they can watch the chefs cook their dinner as the small kitchen is part of the main dining area but sealed off by a glass partition. I had the ravioli main course, it just melted in the mouth. £43 for 2, 2 cokes, starters, 2 mains, and a desert, including service charge. One could pay almost double that in the local vicinity of Victoria. Easy.

Great little Italian spot. Calzone was huge! Ravioli was amazing. Staff was super nice and we really enjoyed going off the beaten path for dome great food.

As German tourists, we were greeted very nicely and the service was great! The food was incredibly delicious. The price-performance ratio is more than fair. Big praise from all of us to the waiter who sweetened the day with his humor and German words.

Perfect and authentic pizza! And the food is not that expensive, stuff is willing to help.

Center Crust is thin and crunchy. Surprisingly able to hold up the sauce. Side Crumb is soft and chewy. Feels like sauce can be abit more flavorful though. Maybe more basil might help?

We had spaghetti bolognese and pizza crudo 😊 both were cooked to perfection. The pizza had a beautiful airy dough to it and the bolognese was fresh and cooked beautifully. We haven't had the pleasure of visiting Italy but have frequented many Italian restaurants in the UK and This was up there with the best.

Was a great evening from the food to the atmosphere to the very reasonable sized bill

Also a special mention to the two girls at the front who are a credit to the restaurant

A great Italian restaurant with phenomenal service. The food was excellent and they have a good discount for students on almost every item on the menu, as long as it’s for takeout. We ordered 2 different pizzas and both were a good size and delicious.

Absolutely superb. The spaghetti bolonegse with pork and lamb was exquisite. Possibly the best pasta dish I have ever had.

We had a lovely meal here. It is a small restaurant with an open style kitchen at the end. We had pizza, and it was absolutely delicious and authentic Neopolitan style, thin base and beautiful crust. We saw a calzone come out of the kitchen and it was huge and looked amazing! They only had red or white wine on the menu, but it was perfectly palatable and didn’t bother us. The staff was super friendly and it was great value too. I would definitely go back here again.

Omg It was the nicest Italian I have had in a long time.
Atmosphere was laid back and fun.
Only in london for two days, so was in comfy clothes not dressy, and you didnt feel out of place.
Staff so so nice.
Food was out in less then 5 minutes.

In and out in half hour and off on our travels again with a full belly. Also bill only 40 pound.
Win win.
