Came in for a day of training while in the area with work. I was welcomed when I came in and there was a great atmosphere with all the people taking the classes. I learned alot from the class and would love to come again. If you are in the area id recommend training here.

Best place locally to train BJJ. This club has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience, students enjoy fun lessons learning applicable techniques for competition or self defence whilst bettering their physical fitness. Highly recommended!

Came in today for an open mat whilst down in Kent. Couldn't have been more inclusive and welcoming, belts of all level very happy to roll and teach you as they go along. Would highly recommend, and will be back whenever I'm down. Thank you for a great day!

All round an amazing place to train.

The space is awesome, clean, tidy and with a modern feel. The strength and conditioning area is very well kitted out.

The team couldn't make you feel more at home if they tried, from the instructors right down to the newest member, everyone is friendly open and welcoming.

I love this place. As a mum of 4 I needed to get myself fit again. When my youngest was a 1yr old I started training at Carlson Gracie Ashford. All of the guys were so welcoming and friendly .They helped me every step of the way. I lost 3st in 5 months and made so many new friends. I've learned to defend myself, I've found self confidence and I've had fun doing it. I can't recommend this place enough. 4 years on I'm still loving it and feeling the benefits.

I started training roughly a year ago after completing a free introductory trial and my only regret is that I can't get there to train more often than I do.
The processes CGA put in place during the pandemic were first class and this served as an indication of the importance student safety and experience is to the club.
The coaches are always welcoming and approachable, and this friendly nature resonates through the team which creates an encouraging and motivating environment to train in.

A very welcoming team at CGA, where you can settle in and feel like you've been a member for ages even during your first session. A fantastic range of skilled belt levels in the classes means you can develop every part of what you've learned in the classes at different levels to truly better your understanding and feelings of self accomplishment

Superb teaching that has improved my confidence, fitness and mental fitness. Never experienced such a positive vibe as I do at this place. Everyone whether you’re a white belt or a black belt greet you and treat you with the same respect. This is my serenity and couldn’t recommend it any higher than I already do.

Extremely welcoming for beginners and having 7 black belts the quality of teaching and jiu jitsu is very high. Add that to the newly built gym Carlson Gracie Ashford is easily the best place around.

Took the plunge with combat sports finally at 51, and glad I did. Friendly and welcoming staff and students, and good coaching and facilities, highly recommended and will be back for more

As a member of both the teens and adult classes, I can truthfully say that the club as a whole has amazing instructors. They also offer a whole range of classes, both during the day and in the evenings.

Great gym! Top notch instructors, high level competitors, friendly atmosphere. Great for kids and adults alike. Definitely recommended!
