Large out of town shopping area, easy and large carpark.

Good choice of items to purchase mostly at a reasonable price

My wife shopped at M&s for years but even after contacting them they cannot be bothered to stock clothing for her and many other womens style or age, we went to Matalan in Ashford wanting to purchase a jacket for my wife for a wedding, they had several but the one chosen was out of size stock, on the off chance we asked a young chap at the chechouts, stock was shown but not on the shop floor, but only one. They searched the stock room and came up with the goods, I nearly got away with just a jacket, but jacket and two pairs of trousers later we left Happy, the entire bundle was less than M&S would have been for the jacket and may I say better quality. Well done Matalan, well done Josh, we will, I have no doubt be returning.

Signed up for emails but do not receive any. Visited the store today. Lots of choice. Changing room fine. Was able to buy nearly everything I wanted. I did want a suit but they all had buttons low down on the sleeve. Sleeves were too long but with the buttons it would be too difficult for me to take the sleeves up. It was a shame as I need a suit and did like the suits there. There were none without the buttons near the cuff.
Homewear had lovely items. Will definitely visit again.

Wide range of clothing and other household items,fairly priced-only down side is the access in and out by car as it can get busy near the entrance with traffic build up at times-other than that I'd recommend Matalan

Matalan has come a long way over the last couple of years.
Gone are the days of a chaotic and disorganised store layout with clothes strewn about, now everything is laid out and presented in a very professional and extremely comprehensive way.
The store is very well stocked with just about everything you need, mainly in the way of clothing and shoes, however there are plenty of other interesting items to be found.
Matalan has managed to raise it's profile and quality whiles still being able to maintain very competitive prices.
Well done Matalan I am truly impressed.
