Very beautiful and had a lovely leisurely walk here. Love that it has markers to follow, so you can simply wander without getting concerned on whether it's the right way or not - always a bonus! Was very tranquil when we went, and will definitely go there again.

What a great place for a woodland walk, especially under the shade of the oak trees on a hot August day! We did the circuit and it took about an hour and half taking a leisurely stroll with our dog. We will be back to see the Autumn leaves and then again the bluebells in Spring.

We walk our dogs here once a week, it's generally very clean and tidy, it's well maintained and the paths are usually not too muddy in the winter. It ha a wonderful notice board with information about wildlife you might see.

A beautiful woods to get lost in nature. The whole place was filled with all sorts of pretty flowers and was actually quite busy for a woods so must be a popular spot, I can see why though.
There are a few different routes you can take, all very interesting and yet peaceful.
Recommend for either a family walk or just to get lost in nature. Definitely worth a visit.

Loved it!! Looking forward to going again. The 3 main walks are clearly marked out plus there are other unmarked trails as well. My dogs loved it too

Lovely place to have a walk with some variety in such a small area and lots of paths to get lost at besides a selection of three signposted walks.

Really beautiful woods with easy to understand routes to walk. It was a really hot day but our dog still needed to be walked and I'm so glad we chose hamstreet Woods as it was lovely and shaded

We went with our dog on a really wet day. Did a half hour circular walk which apart from the mud was lovely. Would definitely go again if passing.

Quiet and great place to walk the dog. Can get muddy if you go off the beaten track but plenty of paths to follow

Great little walk to take the kids, a multiple of routes and a good mixture. Of course due to the wet weather, a bit boggy in places meaning boots were temporarily lost, but it all adds to the fun!

First time we visited here with our dog. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I have mobility issues but with my walking poles & plenty of benches on the "yellow" route, I managed it. The people we met were extremely helpful and friendly. Will defo go again.

This is a really nice place to walk the dogs. One of our dogs is a young wire haired pointer, and just loves to run about in the woods , while our other is an older lab X who just likes to have a good old sniff. It's the perfect place for both of them. My young grandson loves to know about trees and there are lots of those about!!!
The space for parking is quite small, but you could always park down the road somewhere and just walk up the lane.

Beautiful old woodlands, plenty of paths. Great for the dog especially if they like chasing squirrels.
Has probably the best display of bluebells, a must see in the spring.
Gets muddy in the winter.

Beautiful woods with lots of trails to go walking on and several walking routes depending on which app or website you get your footpath maps from. Great place to bring the dog/s.

This is a beautiful and very big woods and I advise you look on the map on entering to choose the appropriate route for the time you wish to spend here. There are bridleways as well as footpaths. It's an amazing place to explore, with well marked routes. I visited when the bluebells and anemones were out in full glory. It's a photographer, walker and dog paradise. If you go to the top of the wood the views are spectacular. I loved this place and will be returning in the near future. Beautiful!
