What a gem of a restaurant! We chose seating at the bar and I’m so glad we did, watching the amazing chefs at work made the food taste even better, if that was at all possible. We also opted for small plates to share to get the most of the amazing menu. The team helped us smoothly navigate the choices on the menus and substantial wine choices and everything we had was absolutely amazing.
This place, the amazing service and wonderful ambiance means that even though this was my first visit, it certainly won’t be my last.

Great lunch here today - just sat at the counter, reading and watching the team go about their jobs.

Great food from the excellent value fixe lunch - and delicious wine and a cheeky grappa.

Even a little problem with a tripping electric circuit didn't put anyone off their stride - everything just seemed to carry on with the same calm friendly charm as before.

I first visited not long after it opened - we're so lucky to have great restaurants like this that hang around doing amazing things day in day out (15 years and counting). Well done all the team.

What a surprise, the food is awesome at this place! Italian food at its best. To illustrate this: I felt inclined to lick out the sauce of my spaghetti with brown crab, and asked for bread to dip it in the olive oil below my grilled lamb chop. Detail: the pesto with the grilled lamb was freshly made. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience yesterday. It is a great place for a easy-going Sunday lunch! We have had such poor Italian food recently however this made up for it all!

We had:
- courgette flower (deliciously light)
-caponata (best I’ve had in UK and perfect for a hot day!)
- spaghetti with brown spider crab (much much better than we had recently at a North London Italian….)
- Capunti with squid ragu and bottargu (so fresh, so simple)

Freshness was evident across all dishes which allowed the flavours to be paramount.

We have been to more known-italian restaurants recently and been seriously underwhelmed. This is just did simple things without fuss brilliantly.

This was a great culinary experience for our little group. We ended up sharing the orders and they were all great! The Blood Orange Salad was 5 star!

Our culinary experience featured impeccably executed dishes, notably the pasta with anchovy bits, blood orange salad, and crispy fried ravioli. The coffee with egg yolk and hazelnut presented a refined palate. Booking is advised, particularly on weekends, given the establishment's enduring popularity. The restaurant also offers pre theatre menu for the theatre fans!

Very busy even in a workday evening, reservation needed. Had nice dinner, pasta and 🦐 are my highlight. Cocktails are good, and I would recommend the dessert wine which is sweet enough for me haha

Bocca di Lupo just always delivers! What a great place - what an amazingly tasty food and always on top. I have been going there since 2018 and it is one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The wine menu is extensive too.
Highly highly recommend it.

Great restaurant with a very lively vibe in heart of Soho.

Hostess so welcoming and attentive. Gave us complimentary fizz as we'd said i5 was our 30th wedding anniversary.
Service excellent and serving staff really knowledgeable about the menu. We got good advice on what to eat and how much! Pleased they paused us to say we'd ordered plenty. Food is sublime! That artichoke! We loved it. 3rd time and we would go again and recommend.

Ridiculously good- astonishing all ends up. Service, ambience, the fabulous food. The pictures don’t do it any justice but I’ll give it a go :) (And special thanks go to Rosie, thank you again: I think I’m a little in love with you already, thank goodness this isn’t going on a public site lol) I’ve eaten in a lot of top restaurants across the world and these people are right up there X

Food is divine! Bread, pasta, fish, dessert, were all absolutely delicious. Wine was good and service super friendly. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Loved it so much that I was there 3 times during my very brief visit to london. The staff were wonderful the food mouth watering the sommelier charming and not over selling. Can’t wait to go back to london just to eat there. I bought 2 cook books and had it signed as the man himself was there the first night 😍

Went there for a double birthday celebration with my boyfriend and the service couldn’t be any better. They helped with what to and how much to order, so kind and friendly, the food and the wine was amazing- overall a perfect experience for a special occasion. The venison ragu pappardelle and the lamb (which they recommended) was the best I’ve ever had in London, the vegetables (we got the courgettes and lettuce) were so tasty crunchy and fresh, and to top it all off they brought us not only but two complimentary individual scoops of gelato with candles to say happy birthday!
Easily made their way into my top three in London and we will definitely come back again. Grazie mille! :)

Beautiful food in a stunning space. Servers make you feel like family and are knowledgeable and assure you to have a lovely evening. Food is fresh, interesting balance of flavors, senses and most importantly seasonal with much of the taste coming from various Italian provinces.

We came back a second time it was so good!!

The food and drinks here were amazing! I really enjoyed my espresso martini and pasta. The salad, and pumpkin dish was also a delight. We sat right on the counter overlooking the cooks. It was a great place to sit, because you can see all the food that is being made and coming out. I even ordered a dish that I saw, because it inspired me that I wanted to try it.

Buzzing atmosphere, awesome Italian authentic food, possibly one of my favourite feeding spots in not just London but across the UK. I am a restaurant snob so I feel my opinion counts for something!

I don't know where they source their olive oil (ie. what region of Italy) but it's ridiculously good.

We had Tagliata for main (dry-aged rare breed beef sirloin) and it was some of the best cut, presented and cooked meat I have tasted in London. It came presented on a white plate with the bone in the middle and beautifully even cut slices in a flower like arrangement around the bone. I think they must have cooked it seared with a glaze of something like balsamic glaze as there was a seared sweet taste on the outside with the inner part of the meat medium rare... just the way I like it!

I have attached some photos, some of the starters we took pictures of were off original plating so some of the presentation is lost but even from these pictures hopefully you can see the quality of the food.

It's so nice to go to a restaurant that has been running for that many years that still takes such care and attention to every detail. Sadly there are very few restaurants left in London like this. It was for want a of a better word a faultless experience.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The ambiance is perfect. The food is delicious and the service is warm and friendly. Could not love this place more. Always top of my list for London trips. Special shout-out to host Lucy who remembered us speaking on the phone when I arrived and helped us get seated at the bar. And also our server India for the great recommendations.

Best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. Amazing food, great staff. I can highly recommend sitting at the counter to watch the action.

Wonderful food. Felt like a hug. The dishes I got felt very representative of their regions, elevated. Lovely staff. Great location for shows. Will come back!
