Joseph Hood Recreation Ground

For my granddaughters 4,5 and 6 years old it was love at first sight. The playgrounds offer so many activities for developing, we really enjoyed the time spent there.

I must confess that my kids love this playground! has option for older and small children as well. clean and nice.

Great little park, nice wide open spaces, a lovely little woodland walk aswell to the side, lots of friendly people, plenty of birds and parakeets about to watch, they could do with updated some play equipment but apart from that it's all good

Great place for walks,running and others activities and to play games. Good kids play area and a pool that not always is filled with water🤔😐.

I like the outside little pools for young children.

Big field with cricket, football, tennis activities. Two kids playgrounds, and mini swimming pool that is only filled during certain times of the year

We played table tennis 🏓 and bowls ......was lovely sunny day. Thoroughly enjoyed it and seeing the cricketers playing too. No toilets though....would be good to have these facilities so folks can enjoy a picnic.

Great outdoor space would really recommend coming here with the family or just alone!

A great great outdoor venue offering tennis, cricket, football, walking with dogs or just a stroll or jog in the open.
I visit this place regularly for tennis with friends.
There used to be free adult and children tennis training lessons over the weekend. Not sure if this will resume after lockdown opens.

Nice little retreat of green space in Morden. The flat ground is good for sports, the two play areas are good for young families and often in the summer they fill up the paddling pools. The recreation ground also has tennis courts that can be used for free which is always a bonus. The basket ball hoops are a bit dated however.

Very pleasant large open space/grassed field with gated/secure children's play areas, also cricket, football and tennis facilities. Large car parking area accessed from Martin Way.

Nice open space and grass kept well maintained. Good to play sports on or sunbathe in the summer. Lots for kids to do with a paddling pool, tennis courts and ping pong table too

A good range of activities for kids with two play grounds and a paddling pool in the summer. Furthermore, Cannons hill common is great for a walk or to feed the ducks.

A good pitch. Toilet facilities are a bit of a trek, but decent sized outfield and a very good deck for a council run ground.

The drive was very relaxing and good. they are punctual you feel rested like you driving your own car I definitely book their car next time.

Plenty of green space. Seperate parks for smaller and older children, including paddling pool. Parking, tennis and basketball ball.

Merton FC home ground and my club so we love it. Lots of space for kids to run around and play and tennis courts on site.
