Patisserie Valerie - Wimbledon

I have visited this place many times over the last few years. Upon entering I noticed that the two ladies who previously served customers were not present. I was informed by one of the staff that the place had a “revamp” and learned that staff had been removed permanently. I didn’t have an issue with them at all but I did feel sorry for them as they often appeared very frustrated and probably had to deal with more than their fair share of complaints. I’ve tried different cakes but my favourite is always the carrot cake. Despite always being cold and a little hard (possibly because it’s made much earlier in the day?), it’s richer in quality than the carrot cake served at other places. The total price (with the americano coffee) was £8.50.

Went here today as a treat for my parents. I had given my Mum a voucher for afternoon tea. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
We needed a vegetarian menu so the manager took back what he had to get us the vegetarian option, however he said we may as well have what they made as I ate meat anyway.
All the staff I found were helpful and friendly, exactly what you need on such a miserable day.

This place has come so far from the rude staff and tasteless coffee. I’ve come here quite a lot over the past couple of years and I’ve noticed recently all their old staff has gone and their coffee has improved massively. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They make the best mochas in my opinion :)

Lovely afternoon with my friend. Patisserie always have yummy treats!! I miss going out for afternoon tea! But now that lockdown has been lifted I am looking forward to more afternoon at Patisserie. Friendly staff and yummy cakes! What more can you ask for!!!

Great location for outdoor pastries and nice staff. My favourite on the menu is the fresh fruit salad

Went in today to have a large breakfast with the family. Food came extremely quickly and the girls were quick to give more drinks when asked. The girls, especially anjali and gabby, were very polite and helpful and walked through the menu when asked about certain cakes. Excellent service, will 100% come again !!

My fiancé and I went here to get some cakes. We were 5 minutes to closing but thought we’d try our luck. Thankfully a wonderful manager named Chris was there (he doesn’t usually work there). He was sent from God! Genuinely the best customer service we’d ever experienced. I hope only good things for you Chris!

After seeing previous reviews I was a little sceptical but I have to say we had the afternoon tea today and was pleasantly surprised . The staff were so attentive nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious well worth a visit.

We had today an amazing afternoon tea experience and I have to say that we enjoyed it enormously. Excellent coffee, fresh sandwiches and delicious cakes. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful including Kostas who gave us extra treats ⭐👏👏👏

Always go there for breakfast ,gabby and Ana always happily serve me and all the staff always take their time to show me new products. I’ve never had any problems and will continue to go there for my breakfast always. Thanks for the great service guys !!

Received a Groupon birthday gift voucher for afternoon tea at patisserie Valerie. Excellent service at the Wimbledon branch by Gaby & the rest of the team. Food & drinks were tasty too!

We had an afternoon tea today, it was very pleasant, food was fresh and tasty. Not sure why all the negative reviews, maybe there’s now new management? However we would return again.

We had a baby shower today in Patisserie Valerie and the staff was very helpful, they connected some tables for us and it was great! There is baby changing facility which is must for those with babies. Also lovely cakes, we got single pieces selection of 12.It was very cosy and warm. Thanks so much for everything!

Lovely ambience and incredible staff. The manager and waitress Monika are extremely professional, welcoming, warm and helpful. I have loved every minute of our experience at the patisserie. The company should use the Wimbledon patisserie as an example and benchmark its other branches against it.

Always enjoy coming here. Great coffee, selection of cakes is fab and always fresh. They have a kitchen so also offer a substantial menu for a coffee shop. In the past I've had sandwiches, salads and other lite bites suitable for lunch.
