Buying a house is normally incredibly stressful- but John Carlisle at Laurels made our purchase easy. Always available to answer any question and most importantly, completely truthful and honest on all matters. Having dealt with more than a few shifty real estate agents, was a refreshing change. Would highly recommend John and Laurels to anyone buying or selling in the area.

We switched to Laurels after our chain broke down when we lost the buyer for our flat. The house we wanted to purchase was being sold by them, so we had gotten to know them already through that process. We were hesitant to switch agents because we did like the ones we were working with. But it quickly became clear it was the right choice, as with Laurels we had a completely different experience from any other estate agents we have ever dealt with. They were highly professional, friendly, and capable through every part of the process, from their recommendations of how to market our flat to the way they did the photography, and the way they handled a number of tricky issues that came up during progression all the way to completion. We're really grateful to Josh, Anna, April, Rob, John, and all the rest for their hard work. We would recommend them to others without hesitation.

Highly recommended - the whole team went above and beyond, from Rob Muat who runs a fantastic agency and gives great advice, to the estate agents and the sale progression team, we felt very supported throughout the experience thanks to John Carlisle, April Tucker, Katie Cullivan.and especially Olivia Greenwood who was very proactive and helpful towards the end. Our situation got complicated but the team was patient and solution-focused which was extremely appreciated in times of pressure. Laurels has very high standards and outstanding customer service, big thanks to all involved in our sale.

First time selling a house in 25 years I was very apprehensive, as I was buying new build the company got 3 estate agents in to value and compete against each other , what I must say from the very first meeting Laurals ( Fraser ) was one step ahead or the game.
He had the house on the market before the others had even sent a photographer round , by the time they had, laurels had sold the property ( 8 days ) for the price we wanted.
Again through the whole process Fraser kept us informed and nothing was to much trouble for him, I think Laurels are lucky to have him . And would highly recommend laurels 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Liam at Laurels has been a pleasure to work with. Proactive from the start, fully available in the important early stages, I can wholeheartedly recommend the company with Liam at the helm. He found us excellent buyers and went the extra mile to hand deliver our signed papers when timing was tight. He was always clear-sighted and actively engaged in the process. I also found the fact that it was Liam himself who showed potential buyers round, rather than another member of the team which is often the case with larger estate agents, a complete bonus. It made the whole procedure personal and built up a lot of trust.
The only downside is that we took his advice on which solicitor to go with (Taylor Rose) and that was the part of the process which we found extremely impersonal which didn’t work for us at all. Find your own solicitor and Laurels is a great choice!

The Laurels team was a breath of fresh air dealing with the sale of our house during Spring/Summer. From start to finish interactions and updates were dealt with in a friendly, efficient but professional manner. Particularly, we worked with John who was always keen to support in any way possible and made our transaction much less stressful than it could have been, especially on moving day! Would definitely recommend.

We recently bought our first home through Laurels and experienced an excellent service from start to finish including cajoling some less than impressive solicitors involved at both ends of the transation. Contact was regular but not intrusive and when communication between solicitors seemed to have hit a brick wall they stepped in to help the process and smooth things over between all parties. Laurels were great from start to finish. They sold my property where 2 other agents had failed. Once we had agreed a sale the progressions team took over and they were there for every question we had and helped make the experience less stressful all the way through to completion.

I purchased my house in August 2023 and it is now November 2023 and I am just writing this review for Laurels. The moral of the story, even though 3 months have gone by, no day has gone by where I have not felt gratefulness towards Laurels for their absoutley outstanding service in helping me during the sale process.

Laurels made a great first impression upon meeting them giving us a real sense of encouragement and optimism at a stage that we really needed it.
They were professional yet approachable and we could tell straight away that potential buyers would be able to relate to them.
