Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington

We stayed here for 9 nights as a family. The Hotel is quite centrally located and yet away from busy tourist areas. The rooms were pretty spacious and had great room service facilities. The staff was extremely courteous especially Ms. Devi who was extremely helpful. Would totally recommend this hotel given it’s a 4 star property at decent prices.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a hive of international activity; ordinary people from all over the world on vacation, beautifully dressed flight attendants from Asia, kids on a high school trip from the continent, etc.... While the rooms are dated, and the exterior could use a refresh, those things didn't matter to us and it was all reflected in the price. If you are looking for a clean and basic hotel at a good price in Kensington, I would consider this option.

Always a great place to stay. So close to High St Kensington tube, and High Street. Easy walking distance for the Royal Albert Hall. Staff always helpful and welcoming. Rooms very clean and well appointed.

On the bigining we had a problem with the room , window looked, but « Jennifer » a wonderful girl in the reception switched us to an other room which was much more better. Although the hotel was fully booked she did her best to get a suitable room for us..We are really grateful to «  Jennifer » for her kindness and helpful attitude🙏 The hotel is very well located in the heart of London, shopping center surrounded the closest roads.

Toilets fine including opulent seating area ( which seemed to be used as a hideaway space) , but no hand driers, just paper towels .
Decor looks the part , wood panelling and lots of polished floors and shiny fixtures .

I had a very nice experience in this hotel. They allowed me to check in early and the receptionist lady was very helpful. I wouldn’t say the hotel looks ‘tired’ as some people say and my room was very clean and didnt hear any noise. I think for the price and the fantastic location it is a decent hotel. Obviously you cant expect luxury at this price but it was a comfortable stay, massive bed. I didn’t use the restaurant or the bar so cant say whether they are expensive.

Excellent location and very convenient for London centre. Devi at reception was extremely helpful in helping us check in with two separate rooms under different bookings, made everything very easy in a professional and friendly manner.

Lovely welcome at reception from Devi who was humorous & in great spirit so started the trip off fantastically.

During our hotel stay on Feb 2024, Alex, the security personnel, went above and beyond to assist us when we lost some items. His prompt and professional help was invaluable. Manager Jone's leadership ensured a high standard of service. Grateful for Alex and Jone's exceptional care!

Our whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end.
It was my mum's birthday and we arrived at the hotel at 11am and asked if our room could possibly be ready, so my mum could change for our Theatre visit.
The staff member called Devi was so friendly and helpful and did her very best to find us a room. We were so happy when she did and to top it off, she had balloons and birthday banners put in the room and when we got back from our show, we had a lovely piece of cake waiting for us and a cute little teddy bear!! It totally made my mum's day and I am so thankful to Devi for this.
The room was lovely and the everything about the hotel was great. The location was fab too.
I will definitely come back, when I'm next in London for the weekend and I would highly recommend it 👍

It's a nice hotel with great value rooms and a convenient location. The hotel is located in a great area with plenty of attractions nearby. You'll find the beautiful Kensington Gardens just a short walk away, where you can take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Additionally, the hotel is close to the famous Royal Albert Hall, where you can catch a variety of concerts and performances.
However, I should mention there's no shataf in the bathroom, which might be a downside for some, the AC doesn't cool the room effectively and the hotel doesn't provide complimentary water bottles.

Kavja.breakfast. Devi at reception, jamilla cleaner are the best.. This hotel pays qttention to detail. The club lounge which most hotels have closed have stayed open providing a luxuary service in this 4 star hotel.

I recently stayed at the Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington and was thoroughly impressed. The location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk from Kensington High Street, offering great shopping, convenient underground and bus connections, and a plethora of good food options. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful, perfect for exploring the city. The only downside was the spotty internet coverage in the room. Despite this minor hiccup, my experience was fantastic and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Nice hotel at the heart of London.
It's a shame I had to leave early and didn't try their breakfast.
I hope to be back and would recommend it.

Very Good Hotel at a very good location. The rooms were neat and tidy. The service was great. Devi at the reception was specially very helpful and kind. Really liked her.
If you deny housekeeping they add a 5 GBP credit to your room for being kind to mother nature. You can use that for an amazing Hot Chocolate at their Cafe, or something at restaurant/bar. I felt it was a good initiative from them.

This hotel has it all! Reasonably priced for the location, close to the tube, parking, spacious rooms, lovely breakfast buffet with every type of food that you could possibly want!
What really stood out, though, were the staff. Extremely professional, friendly, happy and welcoming. There were more staff here than at any hotel I've visited in London. They made the stay much more enjoyable than we anticipated.
Absolutely staying here again and again and again...

The team at Tara Hotel (Nabil and his team, Harsh, the Security Manager) are superb. I hosted an event there in March 2024 and was impressed by the support, attention to detail and warmth from the team. I highly commend Mr Nabil and would recommend Tara for its prime location (2 mins walk from High St Kens tube station). Thank you again.

Perfect location right next to the underground, with a macdonalds round the corner too. The hotel staff went out of their way to give us a free earlier check in as it was my partners birthday, they helped to decorate the room and then room service came with a birthday cake and card! The hotel itself is so beautiful at Christmas, it felt like home alone. We would definitely come back here again.
