Spinach Restaurant

'Simple flavours done just right' is how I would summarise our Saturday breakfast experience at Spinach East Dulwich.

I had the Sweetcorn Fritters with Crushed Avocado and Tomato Salsa while my dining partner had the Sweet Potato Shakshuka.

Both dishes presented the right level of flavour and texture for the price point.

I usually enjoy chatting with staff about little food and drink details, and the Spinach staff happily shared their formula for their heartwarming tuneric latte.

Overall, this was a lovely Saturday breakfast experience. East Dulwich's Lordship Lane has many good options, and Spinach is certainly one of them.

Stopped by for a snack and drink; was pleasantly surprised by the very warm and genuine service! The cinammon bun recommended by the friendly lady at the counter was delicious. My friend said the juice was really fresh too. They also had plenty of GF options (she had one of the GF baked good). Would love to visit again sometime for lunch or dinner!

I live round the corner so maybe I’m biased but this is the best place for brunch in the area. The Baleadas (tortilla with beans, avocado and crumbled feta) is so delicious I have had it probably more than 10 times! Service is great, coffee is great, juices are great. What is there not to love

Very relaxed atmosphere and perfect for Sunday brunch with family.

So many delicious sharing plates including crushed avocado on sourdough and sweet potato shashuka. Generous portions and well priced.

Proper chips and fresh fish finger went down a treat with our 3 yr old grandson.

Would highly recommend and definitely come again.

One of my favourite spots for brunch in East Dulwich. Great coffee and the food is amazing.

My favourite dish is the sweetcorn fritters. They’re perfectly crispy and served with a refreshingly contrasting tzatziki. Crushed avocado on top is a real treat, and there’s an option of perfectly crispy bacon or grilled halloumi.

Also good are the spinach pancakes — my mum hasn’t stopped making them since a visit here several years ago!

Staff are always friendly and there’s plenty of outdoor seating on a warm day. The restaurant is larger than it looks from the outside — there’s a small upstairs tucked away right at the back.

A must-visit spot for brunch if you’re in the area for a day or two!

Lovely cafe/brunch spot. Very nice salads available and also the capuccino was perfect. The staff were very accommodating towards some changes I requested. All in all a great place to come to catch up with friends

Have to be honest, I tried this shakshuka years ago and was blown away. Came back all the way from Manchester a few times afterwards to only have this dish and it would always hit the spot. It's not your typical traditional dish, it is sweet potato based and I recommend adding chorizo too, I promise you'll wanna come back. Recommended!!!

Really nice place to chill and eat brunch. Food tastes amazing and worth the price. Service was friendly and fast. Good place to hang out and catch up with friends. I recommend their salads!

Great place, relaxed and nicely decorated interiors and the food is just amazing! I have been here for brunch, lunch, and dinner (not in the same day I promise!), and I have been impressed every single time.

The avocado on sourdough with eggs is very tasty, the salad + protein combos are a nice option for lunch, and dinner offers a huge variety of dishes which are just amazing. I would recommend the courgette and mint fritters, and the seared tuna is to die for!

The service is great, very friendly and helpful staff!

Nice location with lots of trees that shade the outside space. So far I only had a mint tea, but I will be back!

Had breakfast there. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that the restaurant is card only😀

Wonderful food and lots of choice for veggies or vegans. Highly recommend the white bean salad, but all the salads looked amazing and good value with a protein addition - I had falafel which were delicious.
Good choices of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Little to no parking nearby.

I had the chai latte and vegan (pistachio, dates, nuts) ball and both were yummy.

Super friendly staff. The lady who runs it is really lovely. Very relaxed, good coffee and yummy food. Stylish decor too. Love coming here.

Staff are really friendly and make you feel as if you are at home. I ended up sitting here all day working from my laptop whilst replenishing myself on smoothies and eating the delicious and healthy food. Will be coming back again and again
