Holland Park Surgery

This is the best surgery in London. With people not being able to get doctors appointments for weeks, Holland Park offers a number of same day appointments as long as you call at 08:00am. Not even BUPA offers this service. The Doctors are all brilliant, recently I have seen Dr Shah & Dr Jivraj, and I could not have been treated better. I cannot recommend this surgery enough.

I get so scared going to the GP every time due to bad prior experiences. I have been registered with 3 GP's before this one and none has been as good as Holland Park Surgery. Dr Ghazal who I saw the other day is extremely professional, a good listener, polite, makes you feel heard and you can tell she really cares and wants to get to the root of the problem. I had quite an uncomfortable test but she made me feel at ease and reminded me I could always tell her to stop. I tend to avoid the GP for as long as I can because I get so nervous, but this surgery gives me no reason to. I would like to submit some kind of formal compliment or something to show my thanks to these people.

I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to Dr Ali Al-Rufaie, Dr Naik Dr Lowi. Nurse practitioner Maria, for all your support you have given to me since my registration. You have all given me a high excellent care. You have made me feel so at ease during a difficult time with my health.

Holland Park surgery has always been excellent to myself and my family. Jordan who works on the phone/reception/office is so lovely.. his calmness is second to none and is always so kind and such an asset to this surgery. Dr Rossabi who I met for the first time a few weeks ago was also kind and incredibly thorough and caring. All the staff on the desk are also lovely. Many thanks

I am very happy with this practice as I am able to express concerns openly and the staff at the practice (the GP, the nurses and the receptionists) picked everything up gently and with care.
I am surprised to see the poor reports as I could not be any happier. I will be treated here with respect, care and transparently which is very important to me. If I don't have clarity on what the treatment would be like, it would be difficult for me to trust. But here I really trust the doctors and nurses. I can definitely recommend this surgery. Referrals also went smoothly and as quick as possible

Reception is fine, I think people expect ridiculous levels of deference and politeness which is why the reviews are poor. They're underpaid and oversubscribed, no wonder they don't wanna listen to you rant and ramble over the phone. Doctors are also amazing. I have various mental health issues and they've been extremely polite, respectful and understanding. I feel very safe in these peoples hands

I went to see Dr Siraj today. I am quite nervous at the GP due to past poor experiences at other surgeries. However she was amazing. I felt at ease and she was a good listener as well as giving me useful advice. She took everything I said seriously. I can't even express how much that meant to me. I will stick with this GP practise as long as I can, their care is really wonderful

Always receive superb care, whether the nurses who take blood (painlessly I might add!), to the new additions to the reception team or the doctors, I have never had anything other than exemplary care for me or my young son.
Always able to get an appointment if you call at 8am for same day in my experience. I stayed with this surgery even though we now live quite far away as service so great.

Cannot fault. All the staff have been very kind and helpful. The care and concern from the GP s is excellent. They were incredibly kind when my very ill mother-in-law stayed with us for several months. She does not live in the borough but it was not an issue.
We have been with the surgery since 2012 and the transition to the new premises was fine.
The new premises are a big improvement, more spacious and convenient.

Today 17 May 2022 I registered with holland park surgery with my new GP .
Very friendly stuff.Big and comfortable waiting area.
Girls at the office were incredibly helpful.
Pooja helps me with online registration.
She told me that i have to wait for confirmation about a week.
But 2 hours later I received my confirmation.
I am back to surgery to order my prescription.
Sagal and Caroline order my prescription immediately , which I received 1 hours later in local Boots chemistry.

Great surgery where booking urgent or regular appointments has never been an issue and there are always doctors available, especially if you are happy to see any doctors. I have always been able to book an appointment for the same day, often within the next few hours. Tests are carried out in time and hospital referrals are usually very quick and efficient. Appointments are a little delayed but only by 15 minutes at the worst (usually in the morning).
They've recently moved to larger premises near Kensington High Street which means a much improved waiting area and all examinations room on the same floor.
Although the surgery is open for new patients, you'll have to be within their area to be able to register and have a means of proving this (utility bills, tenancy agreement, etc).

Great practice. Have been with them since 2014 and couldn’t thank them enough for their thoroughness and care. Very professional staff from receptionist to the doctors.

Just registered last week. Great service. Spoke to a lovely Doctor on the phone. Reception could be a little more professional (chewing gum walking away when speaking to you, more of a professional tone on the phone)
But overall happy days so thank you

We have been with the practice for 20 years and consider ourselves incredibly lucky. Always get an appointment or call back from GP if that is more suitable. To find a teaching practice in central London is a bonus as always a good roster of doctors. Reception staff much better since the move.

Due to a child hood RTA I have had 50 year's experience of GP Surgery's and the NHS overall therefore I feel best qualified to confirm that this is the best surgery I have ever had. In my view they adopt a holistic approach to treatment and treat the patient not the x-ray. Over the years thier considerable assistance has helped me overcome addiction and depression. Accept my disability and more recently gainful employment. I cannot rate them too highly.

Holland Park Park Surgery is a highly efficient organisation. The staff are extremely competent, helpful and sympathetic to patients. The premises are scrupulously clean and well kept and the telephone appointments system operates splendidly. The Surgery is a fine advertisement for the NHS.

Medical staff and treatment generally have consistently been better than faultless. I have experienced none of the problems of which other reviewers have complained in relation to reception and administrative staff. I value this excellent practice hugely.

Doctors are absolutely amazing!!!
Very very kind and professional, full of sympathy, attended one of their late night section. The doctor was very good at listening patience and try to make them feel comfortable.
I was literally crying after I left, because she was so nice...😂
