We were welcomed by helpful staff and there was no wait as our entrance tickets (£10) were timed. It was easy to find our way round the galleries and its a pleasant environment.
There are lockers if you need to store your bags. The Art Cafe is cozy and they do a great carrot cake. There is also a gift shop.

Free admission for students! It is my favorite museum in London. The exhibition experience is very comfortable and the circulation is well planned. The variety of souvenirs is also very rich and exquisite, highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the exhibition on display and the staff were nice too. The whole gallery is beautiful to be honest and I would definitely come again to bring friends or recommend to others. I’d definitely going to the gift shop too- many products are expensive but there are some bookmarks for £3.50 and postcards for cheaper than that. I’d recommend buying tickets in advance which from I remember the website recommends too especially if you’re a student you can access most for free expect the members only sections!

Enjoyed a full morning here, building and art equally fascinating. Beautiful courtyard and multiple cafes. Cute gift shop, disappointing selection of postcards though. Would recommend a visit, did cost £10 entrance but it all helps to keep it running.

Wonderful collection of paintings in
a beautifully remodeled building in central London! More intimate than the nearby National Gallery with less visitors and better overall lighting of the paintings!

The permanent collection, includes a bonanza of acclaimed Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings.
Massively impressive: sustains an air of authority and expertise.
Faultless mounting, lighting and curation - I emphasise faultless.
A dedicated “Bloomsbury Group” Room inspired by their “loose” dis-association attempts to evoke the period design ethos.
Located in the inestimable Somerset House, find the Courtauld, a cornerstone of London’s Art Establishment.

A beautifully curated and very impressive art collection. The Courtauld Gallery is one of my favourite galleries in London and a lovely place to spend a couple of hours.

The courtyard outside is a nice space and the gift shop is definitely worth a visit.

So many stunning paintings, but my favourite has to be A Bar at the Folies-Bergère by Manet. Such a beautiful, detailed painting. So many more to see too including Van Gogh, Seurat, Monet and Renoir. A truly special collection.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth the entrance fee (free entry with a National Art Pass).

Its a gem of a small collection, the glass cover of the artwork reduces visibility as lighting is not adjusted for glass reflection, one has to take different positions to see the art paintings. The Somerset house is worth the visit

Anyone who likes the Early Impressionist & Impressionist like Manet, van Gogh, and Cezanne must visit the LVMH Great Room on the third floor. On the 2nd floor, Rubens & 17th century. On the 1st floor, you'll find in the Medieval Gallery a Courtauld Bag! This gallery is really worth a visit. There are lifts for easy access. Lower ground floor you will find gift shops, toilets and lockers.

Really fabulous gallery housing some of the most famous works from the history of art. Of particular note, are the Reubens, and the Impressionists, which are breathaking.

This is not a big gallery and you can see it all in under an hour if there aren't many people there.

I was really impressed by the collection of impressionist works on the top floor.

The building itself is lovely and they've really curated the works well throughout.

Well worth a visit.

It’s an incredible gem to find. The gallery is not big. The impressionists collection is fantastic. Located at the top floor of the gallery, it has paintings of Monet, Manet, Van Gogh and more. The rest of the collection worth checking as well.

The building itself is interesting and inspiring. Particularly the staircase. The gallery is located in one of the wings of the Somerset House and the view of the inner yard is nice from its top floor windows.

The Gallery is a bit pricey as for its size. I personally think that the experience is worth these money.

If for no other other reason the renovations have brought life back to the third floor galleries. Then there's the wonderful surprise of the pictures that you may not have thought were in London!! Am not giving that pleasure away by showing you what's there- GO SEE

Loved the Courtauld Gallery itself, but exhibition on Frank Auerbach was truly memorable.

Visited on a Sunday and used Art Pass to gain free entry. This is a fine museum based in the original Royal Academy building at Somerset House, which had bags of character. Some really impressive paintings are in the Collection which covers everything from Medieval to Modern paintings. G TVreat selection of Impressionist and Post-impressionist paintings makes this an exceptional destination. There's a cafe just outside, and 2 more in the nearby Somerset House Courtyard. Would highly recommend!
