I went to the walk-in centre yesterday as there were no GP appointments available at my local surgery.
The whole process from checking in, to then being seen by a nurse, was very efficient, not much waiting time either.
I required antibiotics after a cat bite and some advice, Jane was the nurse I saw and she was very helpful and reassuring.
Thanks again to all the friendly and professional staff in the walk-in centre.

I feel very lucky to be walking distance from this place. I had an ailment that needed urgent treatment but which was not so severe as to go to A&E. I had it looked at and treated on my first visit, thereafter I had to go back every couple of days to get the dressing changed as I couldn’t get booked in at my GP surgery until well into the New Year. So I have just attended the clinic 6 times over the Christmas period. Every time I was seen within 40 minutes or so of arrival and every staff member I encountered was great. The receptionists, the nurses and the doctor not only displayed the highest professionalism but were also really kind and empathetic.

Called in this evening and was greeting by a phenomenal receptionist named Clare. Was seen quickly by a very efficient doctor. Was made feel very at ease and they did their best to get everyone seen in a prompt and efficient manor.

After being told off at Western Eye Hospital for walking into A&E without a referral and they refused to see me without understanding my symptoms, I went to Teddington Memorial Hospital on New Years Eve desperate to be seen to address the pain in my left eye that has been quite troubling and debilitating. The staff at reception were very empathetic and despite it being 6:30pm, they agreed to at least have a nurse triage me which I was grateful to be seen by someone. I was seen by a nurse almost immediately and she was so kind and caring, she told me she would ask her colleague (I think his name was Jeff, not sure?) to see me. I waited only 40 mins and was so thankful to have had brilliant care from Jeff? who examined my eye and gave me his diagnosis, which was a relief! He gave me peace of mind and instructions on how to care for my eye until 2 Jan when things open up again and I can go to the Kingston Eye Clinic. What a god-send this clinic is! So much better than the care from my GP, I am truly grateful! Hats off to all the nurses, doctors and medical professionals who work so hard even over the festive periods and New Years Eve at Teddington Hospital to provide medical care and support to us. You are angels who make this world a better place! THANK YOU!

Attended teddington walk in when my sisters operation scar reopened and Kingston couldn’t help us.
We were attended by Julie and Ross who closed the wound and did an amazing job. Home in 1hr 30minutes and saved us a trip to St George’s. This walk in centre is a real asset to the community. We are so grateful for the treatment we received. Many thanks Julie and Ross.

My experiences at TMH have always been good over the years, but this weekend...exceptional. From the moment I walked to reception. Advanced Nursing Practitioner Eileen Carney-Jones then literally saved my life only minutes later. Calm, caring, skilled. The nurses and paramedics who then attended were also fantastic. And Eileen then followed up with a call to St George's Hospital to check I'd made it. My family and I are beyond grateful to Eileen personally, to all at TMH and to the NHS.

Pleasantly surprised at the service received at walk-in centre, having been advised to seek an urgent ECG check for high blood pressure and irregular heartbeat. Assessed straight away, then very thorough examination and medicine prescribed, all in the space of about an hour altogether. All staff involved very professional and friendly.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Nurses here are exceptional. Absolutely exceptional. They are knowledgable, reassuring and proactive. Cecilia, Eileen and Teresa - you are just wonderful. True examples of dedicated and hard working nurses. I came in to this hospital with a foot injury which my own GP didn't know what it was. However, the nurses here did. Acted swiftly but calmly. I am still coming into the hospital weekly and I always get great service starting from reception, x ray department, nurses.

A big thank you from me.

My Little boy came into the hospital with a gash on his head and very scared - Nurse Ricardo did a great job, instantly put him at ease and carried out the examination with great care and compassion. Top notch!

We were visiting our daughter so away from home at Teddington. My wife trapped her finger in a door & crushed the end & nail.
Two hour visit to the Memorial Hospital included preliminary examination, x ray to show fractured finger, anti tetanus vaccination, application of small splints & tape, a course of antibiotics, additional small splints & tape, together with a letter to our local hospital when we return home. Thank you for such excellent treatment.

Lovely staff, efficient service, good facilities. Under 2hrs in and out inc xrays and wrist brace following my son's sports related fractured wrist. We need more of these types of centers. Better than GP medical practice.

My husband had painful swollen throat for a week and was getting so bad he couldn't eat or drink without extreme pain, popped to the walk in clinic on Sunday morning, seen almost immediately as very few people waiting, instantly diagnosed and sent home with wonderful anti biotics. Fantastic 🤩 fastest service ever. Highly recommend.

Staff were polite and helpful to a degree, much more than they are at Kingston hospital. This was my first visit here and it was a positive experience and day, in great company within my negative week.

Cold & Chilled (& FREE) water machine in the waiting area of the Blue area, which is where I was instructed to wait to be called into my appointment.

My only negative was, (as also mentioned politely to the nice black lady that I was seen by...)

• It' would be a helpful advantage If the NHS trust could have some shower type handles on the wall next to the couch I was laying on, as I'm fully aware the employees aren't allowed to 'lift' patients up, as I'm a very large disabled man and trying to sit up and off the couch after the appointment was made extremely difficult, and not helped by an acute back pain either!

Apart from that, my day went great, and I even had a walk up to Superdrug for some purchases prior to killing 20 minutes upon early arrival.
I would look into making future appointments at this Teddington hospital.

Visited physiotherapy dept in April. Excellent professional, and indepth consultation. I was very happy with the advice given. I was listened to and did not feel rushed. I have had cause to visit Teddington memorial hospital for several different issues over many years and my care has always been wonderful. Thank you.

I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated today. Reception staff and doctor very professional and caring. I consider that the wait of 2 hours was totally acceptable given that it was standing room only in the waiting area when I arrived. Thank you.

First of all, let me give you a fact... parking... very limited space and must be paid for, so do remember your wallet, if that is you wish to park and pay. If however like me, you are capable of a short walk, Coleshill Road (first on the left as you pass the walk in centre travelling out of teddington) is free to park in. I don't know what it's usually like for parking down this road, but I counted about five free spaces.
(IF THIS HAS HELPED YOU PLEASE LEAVE A HELPFUL THUMBS UP 👍)
I arrived at the Teddington walk in centre at 1345. Booked in and waited just under an hour to see a triage. Was told that it was about an hours wait to see doctor but only had to wait half. My injured limb was bandaged shortly after and i was given some helpful advice before being sent on my way.
Thank you Teddington Walk In Centre for looking after me today 👍👍👍
