Meltdown London

I've just moved to London from Ireland and live around the corner~ a friend recommended we check it out & I was not disappointed! Great atmosphere, even better bar staff. Everyone was super friendly + the drinks were pretty decently priced for London! We had a couple drinks, played some League games, and spectated the pub quiz (which looked like great craic too). Will definitely be back~

Visited while on holiday and did not regret the experience one bit. Whether you’re a fan of gaming, anime, alcohol or all three this is the place for you. Great atmosphere accompanied by great & friendly staff, with events depending on what night you visit. Prices are reasonable as well.

Fantastic bar. If you're a gaming enthusiast and have much respect for the community, come here. It's energetic, full of passion and occupied by the most humble of communities. A safe haven for anime and computer game lovers. The staff are on point and go above and beyond.

The best place for fighting games in London! Amazing atmosphere, 6 high performance PC setups and regular events, would definitely recommend to any fighting games fan.

E-sports bar with streaming competitions on the big screen and local gaming on consoles like PS4, Gamecube, Wii U and more. PC games like DotA and LoL available too. Buy a drink to get free access to games. Cocktail menu is inspired by games characters. Freindly and helpful staff.

But no matter the event and whether or not you're a gamer, you won't find a better atmosphere than at Meltdown London.

Went for a couple of drinks here before heading on somewhere else. Really friendly service, easy to find a seat, good selection of beers, nice atmosphere. Would definitely return if I was in the area.

Great little place for like minded people to gather and improve on gaming.

I really liked the Meltdown bar, a nice welcoming vibe for Esports fans. You can request for any live tournament broadcasts to be put on the TVs, and a decent selection of drinks.

I think tournaments are also run by the bar too, so that's a nice addition.

Great place with nice PCs and consoles. Very friendly staff and drinks are reasonably cheap. I can definitely recommend!

Awesome little bar with a unique theme around esports and computer gaming. Fun and themed cocktails, regular tournament nights and generally a friendly crowd. I wish there were more bars like this around town!

Meltdown is such a nice place, i can say it is one of my favorite pubs in london
.But if you're planning to go and play check the events before as they do a lot of tournaments during the month and when you get there, there's no chance to play.

Friendliest gaming bar in London. With great taste when it comes to games and anime too. Karaoke there is always a blast. Lots of cool video game themed cocktails and shots.

Absolutely lovely, and very lively bar, great music and reasonable prices. All the staff super friendly and kind.

Went here for a friend's birthday and the atmosphere was great. Friendly bar staff, loved the shots and their names (The Kirby shot was delicious and the Leeroy Jenkins shot tasted like Christmas) The games on offer (the ones I saw included League, sonic racers, Tekken, Smash and Soul Calibre) were good for casual and serious gamers alike.

Walked by this spot and saw a giant projection of a Csgo tournament and had to check it out!

Inside was a bunch of gaming computers in its own section but not fully secluded away from the rest of the bar.

Many seats to drink at and a lot of space to walk and talk as well.

There was another big TV/projector with street fighter and other games and also karaoke with an array of song choices so you can sing your favourite anime op/Ed 😚.

The staff were incredible too!

The staff were massively welcoming and accomodating. Back in July, I had been searching all over the city for a gaming cafe to participate in a tournament, and got to them late in the day.

Not only did they allow me to stay after the lockup to complete my games, they even cheered me on as my team and I went down to a spirited defeat! A blonde girl and a dark haired fella were on the bar, thanks for putting up with me even at the end of a long day! All the best

Met some truly awesome friends and people at this place. Great selection of drinks, great gaming setup and the staff are awesome.

It's reopening was last night and it was great to have the place back and see old faces and new ones. The new people I saw behind the bar were friendly and worked hard to make the night great. Great work by the one called Sam, who always brings in the good vibes to bar.

Really cool place and the staff are lovely. I came on a Friday night with a few friends and we had some drinks and played Mario kart/Smash Bros on the consoles. The staff were really helpful setting things up and the drinks were cheap (by London standards). The atmosphere was also friendly and I'll definitely come back.

Meltdown London was a great place to play online games and arcade games. Very good drink selection at the bar and an amazing cyberpunk ambiance in the bar. I also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly which made it a very enjoyable experience for my friends and I.
