West Green Surgery

Not every GP surgery is great but this one is genuinely excellent. They offer translation for lots of languages, and the staff are always kind and calm in my experience! They have a shiny new office and they deserve it. Genuinely great place to have as my doctor.

Really good surgery, clean environment, large waiting room. The reception staff are welcoming and able. Was seen twice recently by Dr Angelica Wynter who I found to be excellent. She was kind, polite, knowledgeable, attentive, caring and she really listens. She checked my history and asked relevant questions during examination. Angelica is both efficient and thorough. When she asked me to book a follow up appointment to check my nasty chest infection, I happily did so. A superb professional with great empathy proving a really great standard of care. Thank you Angelica.

My family switched to West Green GP about a year ago after years at Bridgehouse GP (where it was really hard to get an appointment). It’s been a revelation joining West Green. Operationally things seem to run really smooth, it’s much easier to get appointments, the new building is clean and fit for purpose and there are lots of health professionals and services there. We have had good experiences with all the various doctors that we’ve seen (adult and kids). The doctors were thorough and kind. I personally went to see Dr Zeynep Karcar twice for the same issue and she seemed very professional, quickly understood my medical background and did what she said she was going to do like speaking to more senior practitioners and referring me to other services and a host of tests to work out what the problem was. She was really clear and listened carefully. I really recommend this doctor and the GP practice. The GP reception team are really organised and switched on.

Physician Associate Angelica has seen me on two occasions and during both times, she was always very friendly, welcome and reassuring. She didn’t disregard any of my concerns, no matter how big or small and she is always very thorough in organising any further investigations or tests. When you book an appointment, make sure it’s with lovely Angelica. You’ll always leave feeling supported and heard!

The 5 stars are for Miss Rashid. She was excellent from start to finish. Really listened, paid attention, asked for tests to be done straight away. She is very efficient and caring.

On other aspects, I've asked for online access to my data in mid November, still waiting for a response. I raised the matter with them once and they said they will let speak with that person. No further feedback in month.

Other times, there are delays with the appointments. The receptionists seem nice and they do help with patience and, sometimes, a smile.

The building is a new build and it's always clean. There's always plenty of seats in the waiting area.

I had an appointement with Miss Yaren Kumas and I left very satisfied. She was very punctual, I did not wait at all and she was also very kind and compassionate.
I felt she was listening to me attentively and really wanted to help.
Yaren is a very caring GP, I am happy to have a GP that I can trust and who is reliable !

Miss KUMAS is a really good GP , she sorted out very quickly a skin problem that I have for so long, thank you so much, I'm glad to finally have found a good GP in London !

Angelica Wynter was the most professional, caring and kind phisican at West green surgery who I ever met. She was carefully listening all details of my health and what symptoms I had. Did the necessary examinations, checking my history. These kind of attentionI unfortunately never had with anyone in this surgery . I had serious infections taking antibiotics but my GP even did not check my throat. Nor checking back if the antibiotic worked or not. After I finished my first course of (8 days) antibiotic my symptoms came back straight away the very next 2 days. I booked another appt , and was lucky enough to get this spot with Angelika who I never saw before. She was concerned finally about my sickness what I was dealing with over 3 weeks and took her time to offer the most appropriate treatment and the most amazing part was she was doing it with explanation. Also she said to come back before I finish my second course of antibiotic to check if all infection cleared up. I wish to see more people like her, who give time for the patient and show real care and willing to examine you. Thank you Angelica!❤

I cannot recommend heartily enough this surgery, I left my previous surgery of 20 years due to them going down hill. From the moment you enter, all staff are polite, helpful and listen to you. The building is clean, and you never have to wait long to be seen. Since I joined recently, each interaction I have had, be it face to face, by email, or on the phone has been top notch, Brilliant!

Yasmin was brilliant. She was mentoring a Student Doctor and allowed him the opportunity to enquire about my injuries, point him in the right direction and made sure the overall assessment was thorough and correct. Her medical advice was well thought through, not rushed, conclusive and she took the time to seek a second opinion and advised In the end on the right course of action and to go to A&E which worked out well in the end and solved the problem I had with my arm as it did require emergency surgery. Both my partner and I are very grateful.

Untill now he is the best doctor that have seen our child,and im not even exaggerating it.
He took care of our baby like it was he’s own child,that’s how doctors should be.
As young parents that we are we get really concerned about our childrens health and some time we just need to see that doctors care about children just like Dr.Shivani did.

The doctor Miss Yaren , I have seen in my visit she was very nice. She listened to me. She addressed all my concern and she even won beyond my concern. Brilliant customer service

I love this surgery so much – I've been with WGS for about 4-5 years now and anything I ask for gets done immediately. The SMS updates after appointments The doctors and nurses are amazing (my most recent experience being with nurse Rayna, who in particular was incredibly caring and considerate when performing a routine exam) and, similarly, the admin team are amazing... Special shout out to Admin actually, it's very obvious (when comparing the brilliant service I've received here to the very poor experience I had with my previous surgery) that the admin team is the beating heart of an excellent surgery :) Nice to see everyone's hard work there has seen the surgery move to a big shiny new premises on Green Lanes – it's so deserved.

He is a excellent Doctor, me and my family have been seeing him for couple of years now. He is friendly and caring . He always explains the condition well.

Brilliant service. Phoned in the morning and was seen that afternoon. Doctor was friendly and helpful, reception staff efficient and warm. Test results came back within days and received clear communication through text. Really impressed.

Dr Naveid at West Green Surgery, is very helpful, understanding and he listen to his patients carefully and he offered the best advice for them. Simply is the Best Doctor.
