JOOD, Lebanese restaurant shisha lounge and birthday parties

My friend and I had a lovely meal here and the owner was very pleasant and our food was fresh and tasty and we will definitely be returning soon. Check out the back garden area when you go, its really cool!

I have to say. I have never felt so at home and impressed by this unassuming family run gem.

Everything from the food, to the shisha, to the baklawa, to the coffee was of a heartwarming class.

Anyone looking to have a quiet get together or birthday is in for a treat.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Hassan's establishment is.

Good food, vegan options, reasonable prices and no fuss

My friend and I found this cozy place randomly just walking around. We were welcomed by a lovely lady and we opted for the shisha garden which is on the other side of the restaurant.
Every single person of the staff was amazingly nice and very accommodating. Food is delicious not an usual Lebanese fast food restaurant, food was fresh and very very tasty. Also the environment is cheerful; We've spent a very relaxing time I'd recommend this place to everyone! Thank you to all of you !

Went here on the hunt for real falafel. I'd heard it was the real deal and it did not disappoint - so good!! Great little place too and the lady who served me was lovely and very enthusiastic and passionate about the food. I got a take away but the place is cute with a nice atmosphere so would eat in next time. Great looking menu too! A nice little find!! Thank you!!

Going to JOOD is like visiting home. Hussein and Jalal were so welcoming, so accommodating, and so generous. The food was amazing and the service was fast. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone who was there that night is clearly a regular visitor. I’m looking forward to my next visit - I’ll definitely be another regular patron at JOOD.

Really nice shisha bar that feels abit like you're in someone's living room, in a good way ! It's an intimate setting with gorgeous sofas, open plan communal vibes and the owner is a sweet host.

We got the pineapple shisha which was good but the smoke wasnt always consistent and would soon need "starting", which is typical of shisha but we were hoping to not have to bother the lovely man that owns it to get those big clouds back.

Will definitely come back again, good value for money at £20 between two people. The morrocan tea was top notch ( no cheating with a tea bag) and the settings are laid back and unpretentious.

Lovely food, I really like it. Was the first time I eat Lebanese food, I ordered the shish taouk it come with salad, rice , 6 pieces of chicken and 2 sauces on the side. They were all amazing. Highly recommend :)

Can I just say that this food is made from the heart. My mum hates me eating take away but when I order from Jood, their falafel wrap is just second to none and it is fresh. I had to call the owner personally to tell him I always order the same thing and not once has my food been late or bad, its always delicious 😋.

The standard is always on point and hopefully I'll be visiting the restaurant in the future. They have a lot of events going on in summer so I'll be having my get togethers here. Let's remember to support independent businesses like these. Xx

Love this place, really polite and friendly service, food was really good, shisha was also well made. The decor & ambience was also nice. But most importantly, it was very clean & a hygenic place, all was following the social distancing measures. Will definitely go again :)

From the first time I had my favourite falafel wrap I was in love.... friendly owners and great atmosphere. My new favourite is falafel and halloumi wrap which is always made better each time.
I love the fact that I can call Jood, place my order and they know who I am and know exactly was salad I want and sauce also.
After moving to West Green Road, 10 years ago... this is the only restaurant I eat from.

Fabulous food!! I was visiting from suffolk and tried something different .I LOVE this place. Ive come back to eat three times in one week. Friendly service very relaxed and welcoming. The veggie mezze is so good ive taken it away as a packed lunch for journey home. I wil miss the food here!

I went there last night with two of my friends, and well loved the food, shisha, staff and vibe of the place. Will definitely be going back again soon. The place was spacious and comfortable.

Had my friends birthday party here, the staff are magnificent and friendly. They provided us with everything. The shisha was amazing and also the workers were something else. They were over the moon👍I recommend this place to everyone!!!!!!

Excellent food at a very good price. My wife and I ate here every night on our stay and never spent more than $12. The falafel and schwarma is particularly good.

Friends, I'm sitting here in Jood, my body still heavy and saturated with the dream I had last night. I had eaten the quite frankly stupendous falafel from Jood that night too, and then blimmin dreamt about it.. I'm not even lying. The golden crunch leading to the fluffy nutty yellow inside, the perfectly textured bread, the gently tangy sauce, the crisp salad. This was a reverie of magnificent proportions! And now I'm waiting whilst the delightful owners prepare me another... Feyrouz is playing in the background and there is a loved up couple smashing a mix grill in the corner... It's just all too delightful, and now my falafel is ready... Following my dreams!!!!! Enjoy Jood my friends!

Very clean and nice restaurant although I didn't get time to visit the Shisha Garden, but I checked the CCTV it was quite good, will recommend anyone Interesting it.
