The Hornsey branch's manager, Nathan, sorted out delivery of my order despite his driver having been pinged by the Covid app only the night before.

Really went the extra mile and saved me the cost of a day's wasted labour from my builders - fantastic service.

If only all Jewsons branches were like that!

What a poorly run branch, the last two times I have been here there has been not one person in the yard, today I really struggled putting 3 6foot fence panels in the back of my van on my own . I go into the office and the yard man is sitting down on the chair talking on he's mobile. I said to the manager every time I come here there is nobody in the yard, his response was there is only two of us here and we were serving customers. Well that was a lie because there was only 1 customer in the shop, does it take two people to serve one man ? I will never come back to the shop again after today this branch and Haringey are the worst branches I have been to in the London area. Don't waist your time coming here, drive a bit further into East London and to use the bow branch or Leytonstone one they are absolutely head and shoulders above this place. On leaving the yard man was again hiding in the plaster store talking on he's phone. Useless.

I went into this branch 2 weeks ago and the yard was a complete mess . Only 2 people were working there leaving the place looking like an abandoned graveyard . Spoke to someone with a bald head and was rude and blunt and stunk to high heaven of alcohol (beer, a lot of it) .As I looked around there were other customers in the yard but no one was serving them and it looked like a free for all, there were beer cans thrown around site and i even spotted one on the forklift (health and safety nightmare) . I left without business and went elsewhere as I am not giving money , time , or further business to a company who's standards are clearly something to be yet desired .

They promised to deliver and didn’t. Had guys on site doing nothing and I had to pay them, so loosing money because of these guys.
