Dr Avneen is amazing! She’s great with our shy dog and makes going to the vet one of her favorite things to do. Dr Avneen is very knowledgeable and I feel like my dog is in great hands with her!

This isn't my usual branch of Village Vet, but I have been here before when my normal branch in St John's Wood was flooded. Had to bring my poorly cat Arthur here during the festive season as there were no appointments at our usual - and they were just as great as our regular vets. Friendly, honest and expert professional service. The vet was lovely and my cat was looked after with care and treated for a reasonable price. Fingers crossed, he seems to be back to his bright-eyed and bushy-tailed self now! Thanks so much to everyone at Village Vet Primrose Hill.

I’ve been taking my pets to the Village Vet since we got our first cat in 2010. Have always received the best treatment and all the attention needed. I would recommend the Village Vet to any pet owners in the area.

Barbara Thielman was the vet in charge of caring for my dog Arthur. From the very start Barbara took the time to ensure I understood all of the options available regarding his operation. Her kindness, professionalism and ability to put my mind at ease was incredible.

I was so grateful that Arthur was looked after to such an high standard and his operation was a total success.

He is now back to his happy self as a result of the exceptional care he received. I can’t recommend Village Vets enough especially Barbara.

Thank you so much.

I was very happy with recent spay of my toy poodle. The operation went flawlessly and my dog came home as happy as she could considering the circumstances. I felt good, that I could always come to other Village Vet that is open 24/7 in case of emergency.

We have an older rescue dog who is very anxious in some situations, including the vet. Since we adopted him he’s needed specialist ophthalmology treatment for non-healing corneal ulcers on two different occasions. Dr Barbara works both from the Primrose Hill (once a week) and Winchmore practices and she has taken such wonderful care of him (and us!)

She takes the time to explain everything very clearly and lets us be in the consultation room with him as much as possible to help with his stress. He’s all healed up now but we wouldn’t go to anyone else if the problem should recur.

Alex who works on reception has been so helpful and friendly throughout the latest round of treatments too. Thank you team!

The care and attention my elderly cat has been given is wonderful.

I've been bringing my elderly dog here for over four years and he has always received great care. Kelly is his favourite vet he's ever had (we've moved quite a bit). As a pet owner I find the practice good value, flexible, responsive and communicative.

We've had a really great experience time and time again since we started taking our dog here. This vet discovered tumors in our dogs breasts which needed removing. Previous vets we had taken her as recently as 3 months prior to the discovery visit had not found anything. Since then we've continued to bring our old girl to this vet and things have gone well. Relatively easy to get an appointment as well as get a call back if we have a question about something. Even though we have moved out of the area we will continue to bring our dog to this vet as long as we remain in London.

My seven month old cocker spaniel LOVES visiting Tessa and the team for his puppy checks. He insists on popping in to visit whenever we're in Primrose Hill. The staff are all friendly, and very well informed on the latest approaches and treatments. I am confident that all the advice that Tessa and her colleagues have given me has been based on what's best for my dog.

I moved to London from the states about 6 months ago with my senior border collie. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found the Primrose Hill Village Vet practice. Tessa and Veronika always take the best care of my dear pup. They are as concerned as I am about her quality of life and are very patient, kind and knowledgable dealing with us both. They are the best!

By far the best vet practice I've came across. I have a neurotic chihuahua who is deeply afraid of the vets due to horrible experiences with other vets, and Tessa is overwhelmingly understanding and gentle. She took time to get to know my dog and recommends treatments based on what is best for her, keeping in mind her anxieties about being at the vets. I can't appreciate that enough.

I can't say enough good things about Kelly and the team here. My dog is a regular visitor (not in bad health, just a rather accident-prone/greedy beagle!) and he is always so well taken care of. He's pretty opinionated about his care yet loves coming here; I'm a real worrier when it comes to my dog yet always leave feeling reassured. As someone who usually comes in on a last-minute emergency basis I've also found it easy to get an appointment, and Kelly is amazing at calling back when I have questions. Their links with the 24hour emergency vet in Belsize Park has also been fab for the times we've had to go there in the middle of the night then follow up with Kelly in the weeks after... all in all I couldn't ask for more.

Village Vet Primrose Hill provides such thoughtful, caring and kind care for our pups. Our main vet, Kelly, is so attentive and follows-up on all the things needed to make sure our pups remain healthy and well-cared for. And, since they are connected to a network of care, referrals out to specialists are easy and medical records easily shared. Highly recommend.

As anxious first time dog owners we are relieved and delighted to have Kelly and the team down the road.
We are frequent visitors to the practise and have been extremely satisfied with the service we have received for our 18 month old labradoodle.
Tests are done quickly and follow up is always reliable. This practice takes a geniuine interest in the welfare of its patients.

Lovely helpful receptionist (both times) he gave me advice in a genuinely kind way . I left feeling reassured about my cat. At this moment I cant afford a private vet but when or if I can I would 100% go there!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were preparing for an international move and they suggested some ways to keep our cats relaxed. It was effective! I recommend this vet.

Kelly is wonderful, she has looked after both of my dogs for years. Everyone there is kind and helpful, I know we are in good hands when we go.

Not cheap at all, but the vets are better than any I've come across before. They're also transparent about costs, more than I can say for my previous vet.

Very friendly and genuinely concerned about the well-being of the animals. Pricey yes, but I guess that's to expect from a vet.
