What an absolute delight to experience this new walking tour by Lisa Honan. She provided us insight into the history and human cost of the tea trade in Britian. The "Empire in a Cup" tour was captivating and well research by this wonderful guide. Three of us had no regrets in taking this guided tour an would recommend this to anyone interested in the history of the British Empire. Thank you Lisa!!

Did the Fleet Street tour with Jill Dalton and really enjoyed it. Jill is great company and really knew her stuff - we loved all the little details and stories behind the architecture. I'd love to do more walks with Jill and London Guided Walks!

Jill’s tour of Fleet Street was very informative and interesting. Took us to corners I didn’t know existed despite visiting the street numerous times. Great hints and tips about local places. Thanks.

Hazel was an amazing London guide! We enjoyed our Victorian London tour and especially enjoyed her animated storytelling which enhanced the experience. She kept the kids engaged with fun facts throughout the tour and was a joy to spend the day with. Thank you so much, Hazel!

Great walking tour, a real voyage of discovery. I did the Dickens one and enjoyed every minute. I have read Dickens and lived in London all my life, but I still learned things. Would happily recommend, enjoyable for all ages.

I recently went on the Roman London walk with Ian. He was very knowledgeable and shared information in an easy fashion that everyone could understand. He was very happy to answer questions. He engaged with all members of the group talking to each individual, making you feel seen even though you are in a group. Very welcoming. I would recommend going on another walk.

The walking tour of Samuel Pepys's London was a delightful and enriching experience that unfolded like a journey through time. Susan, our guide, was the linchpin of this immersive adventure, embodying the perfect blend of knowledge, enthusiasm, and preparedness.
The tour commenced at the iconic Tower of London, where Susan set the stage for the historical exploration. Her storytelling transported us back to the 17th century, breathing life into Pepys's world. She described Pepys’s two visits to the tower, once visiting its zoo and another instance as a temporary resident.
Moving on to St Olaves, we discovered the charming church that Pepys attended. Susan's insights into Pepys's personal and professional life made the visit to St Olaves more meaningful, as we could envision the man behind the diaries within the walls of this serene place of worship.
The Seething Lane Garden, adorned with markers depicting key points in Pepys's life, became a captivating open-air museum. Susan's meticulous research was evident as she guided us through a few of the markers, weaving together Pepys's experiences and the historical significance of the locations. Her passion for the subject matter was contagious, and it made the tour not only informative but also deeply engaging.
The tour concluded at St Dunstan in the East, a stunning church that has weathered the test of time. Susan skillfully connected the dots, bringing Pepys's story full circle. Her ability to tie together the various elements of the tour showcased her expertise and passion for the subject.
In retrospect, the positive experience of the walking tour was not just about the historical sites but also about Susan's role in making it come alive. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and thorough preparation elevated the tour, leaving us with a profound appreciation for Samuel Pepys and the vibrant history of London. Susan's guided journey through Pepys's London was a truly memorable and enriching experience.

Excellent tour with Hazel in Covent Garden. She showed us out of the way places I'd never seen before and her stories painted pictures of how the area used to be. She introduces surprising facts, fascinating links in history and seems to be able to answer any question asked. Then suddenly the time had passed and we were left wanting more! Excellent and highly recommended.

Sylvia's tour through the rapidly (and radically) changing Kings Cross area was fascinating, delivered with passion. She explained how the Victorian railways transferred vast quantities of coal, grain ... and potatoes ... from the north to the depots and canal boats around what is now known as Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard (not to mention the delights of Camley Street Natural Park. The tour unwraps the industrial heritage of this extraordinary 'new' area of London ... dubbed the 'Knowledge Quarter'.

Susan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed my tour of the secret spaces in the City. These are places I never knew existed despite living here for years, so it goes to show there is more to discover in this city all the time!

The links to history and the modern day were fascinating to hear about and helped to put things into context. I really found the story of the livery companies interesting and how they carry on the traditions hundreds of years later.

Overall a great tour of the City and had just the right amount of detail and length.

Jenny our guide for the City of London was so inspiring. She was able to give so much detail about the financial side of the city of London including the history of the bank of England and the Royal exchange. I especially enjoyed the description of the Guild hall, Temple bar and the plaques on the wall of the Postmaster graveyard describing people who in Victorian times had saved people's lives often losing their own.

'Heretics and Horrors' was an enjoyable and informative tour, our guide Hazel was interesting and knowledgeable and able to answer additional questions from the group. The walk covered an area of London I have spent a lot of time in so it was great to hear some grisly history! I will be looking to see what other walks are available in the future. We were also pleased to be able to bring our dog Ted with us.

Attended a great LGBT+ History tour of Westminster, hosted by Philip. Although I am in the area on a regular basis, the tour explored and pointed out landmarks, I had not paid attention to. Philip was knowledgeable and did an excellent job at keeping us engaged. Highly recommend the tour

A great walk along the north side of the river Thames. Susan was very knowledgeable and always checking that we could hear her. I certainly learnt a lot more of the history. I especially liked the mosaic depicting the various stages of London.
