What a charming place to hear some musicians, grab a drink and look at the stunning stained glass windows. It has a full schedule of programmes including opera and a museum. Check online. Tonight we saw some undergrads being tutored by an established musician tweaking their arms and bow struts. Very charming. Andrew the front of house manager filled us in on the history.

The collection is small and it's not open everyday, but the staff are super friendly and ensured that we could take the most from the visit

The Royal Academy of Music Museum is a fascinating place to visit, even if you are not a music expert; it is free to enter and you will discover a bit more about the history of the Royal Academy of Music as well as unique instruments, manuscripts and paintings; highly recommended if you are in the area.

Interesting small museum displays assorted historic stringed instruments and keyboards et al. If the names, Stradivari and Erard resonate this will ring your bell. Andante.

It's CLOSED indefinitely and RAM cannot be bothered to update google maps and the other travel reference sites to say so. So a wasted journey. Put greater than one hour to enter as I will have to wait a very long time to enter. Did I say it was CLOSED, CLOSED you hear. Tried to visit 19-Apr-24

Just to let everyone know, they are not open everyday ( I was here January 14,2023) only on Friday’s and even then not accesible to the public just school children, which I was just old.
