I came here to celebrate my 21st birthday and I had the most wholesome experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating and Rafa was the highlight of our visit. He was so friendly from the moment we walked through the door and very patiently taught us how to play a board game we were struggling to learn. Genuinely, Rafa’s kindness alone has guaranteed that I’ll be back :) The entire team made the stay so enjoyable and I highly recommend coming here to play some games!

Have wanted to come here for ages and finally got the chance. Great board games cafe in a trendy location in Waterloo under the arches. They have hundreds of games, great variety to chose from. We booked a table for 12 and had a lovely book at the back so it was very private and comfortable for games. Drinks were ok and staff were super friendly. Would definitely come back!

SUCH a cool board game cafe. Probably the best around. I was surprised that they sold a large selection of food to buy! However, I didn’t buy any food.

So many board games to choose from, I think I wish I had booked a bit longer because board games take a long time to play. It’s quite busy and loud in there, but playing the games was really fun and I found some familiar games I loved playing, there’s something for everyone.

Such a great place, tons of games to choose from. Only spending an evening is simply not enough.

Combine it with having service at the table and dishes that match the atmosphere and you have got the perfect recipe for a perfect game night

Great fun for a group of people interested in board games. Nice place to relax with friends whilst playing games. Good selection and helpful staff. Good range of food and drink, only £7 extra for the game novelty which wasn’t too bad. Nice idea

Great selection of games! Got through a number of games in our time slot, staff were friendly and happy to help find games we'd seen listed on the website. Toilets were clean and well equipped.

So cute here! We paid £7 for a 3 hour slot from 4-7 on a Saturday ☺ They have amazing vegan nachos!!!

Draughts is inside the Leake Street graffiti area, easy to find if you know where that is! They have sooo many games! I haven't played a lot of board games before but loved Carcassonne, A Little Wordy and Battleships haha.

I love this place!

They have great selections of games!! Card games, board games, word games etc

They have good food selections! They also have a bar with coffee, beer and etc.

I recommend booking in advance. They charge £7 person for access to table.

Great place to hang out with family and/or friends.

Best board game bar in London, great food, drink and service. All the staff are super knowledgable on the games so you can ask for number of players, type and length of game you want and they’ll bring over suggestions for you. Fab place, highly recommend.

My 7 year old (boardgame obsessed) son and I came here for the first time today. We were early (opens at 12) but they let us come in and sit down for 10 minutes.

There was a huge selection or boardgames with no restriction on how many we could pick, which is just as well because my son has the attention span of a distracted goldfish.

We ordered a few small plates of food which were delicious and very generous portions.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a lovely experience and we will be back again for sure.

Great few hours on a rainy Saturday evening! Loads of games, didn’t book (recommend doing so) but luckily had a counter table for 2. £3.50 each to play (£7 if on a proper table). Didn’t order food (though it looked good from afar!) but had an espresso martini and summer spritz and they were both delicious! Friendly staff too

As a board game fanatic, I'm very picky when it comes to game cafes, but this is one of the best. The selection of games is incredible, there are many places to play, even more secluded ones that will get you away from the noise of the main area, and I very much enjoyed that cherry pie that I ordered. Definitely one of the best I've ever had which is saying something considering it's my favorite dessert.

The staff was extraordinarily kind and knowledgeable about the selection, plus the location inside of the famous graffiti tunnel was a treat with plenty of nerdy murals.

We had a great time here. We did not reserve a table in advance. Fortunately the helpful and friendly staff had a free table for us.

The food was very nice. We had the grand nacho plate and fries and both were very tasty.

There is a big collection of board games to choose from and we played as many as we could during our three hour stay.

We had a great time and can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking to play some games in a nice location with good food and friendly staff!

Excellent place to meet friends, have a drink, eat some dinner. Food is pretty good but you go for the board games, atmosphere and meeting up with friends somewhere a little different. Our 7year old also loved it. Children 5 and over are well catered for in the games front to.

Really friendly and helpful staff. We walked in, but probably best to book for a longer time.

Great selection of games, and staff offer to talk you through them, to help you try new games.

Very family friendly, our under 12 was free, winner. 😊

Really a great find. Hidden in a tunnel, filled with incredible street art works.

Great board game cafe, love the atmosphere here. Easy to get to, close to Waterloo. Big choice of games and the staff are brilliant at giving advice and helping you choose. The last time I went the staff forgot about us a couple of times so ended up choosing a particularly hard game. Worked out in the end but could have been better. The food is tasty but would be nice to have at least one healthy option.

I visited draughts on a rainy Saturday afternoon to kill a couple of hours before a show. I was with my 14 year old daughter and it was her idea. We had a fabulous time, the staff were really friendly and helpfully picked out 4 games for us to try based on our interests and experience level. We had time to play 3 of them and they were excellent. The food we had was delicious, we'd already had lunch so we just had some halloumi fries (highly recomended) and a couple of desserts. This is simply the best place in all of london.

Lovely little place hidden in Leake Street Arches, a famous spot for graffiti artists. I site is much bigger than it looks on the outside. There’s a bar, lots of tables and shelves filled with board games. There’s a food and drinks menu. To play the games it’s £7/person.

It’s a very nice place to go and play any of their board games, they have sooooo many to choose from!
The food was also very tasty, the Korean style cauliflower as a veggie highlight!
The £7 playing fee seems a bit excessive but overall it’s worth the visit.
