An amazing team of staff, very great always ready to help and always accommodating to all. I love going in here just saying morning or using the cash machine as they also look after their customers and look out for wellbeing. They have security which is a major plus as this protects the customer and are always on the watch for people lingering around so if anyone is doing this they are then approached to see if they need help so this is a deterrent and this branch is probably only one in Croydon or bank that does this so thank you Natwest for keeping the community safe.

Visisted this branch during the Coronvirus epidemic. Having read the negative reviews I was waried. However the staff could not be more understanding. I was waiting n the queue for almost an hour (due to corona restrictions) when an accident happened inside the bank near the closure time, which released gas. Although not serious they had to suspend the services. All customers waiting we were frustrated. Thankfully staff was apologetic and explained everything, they also went the extra mile and kept the bank open beyond the closure time; they sorted the issue and managed to help some customers. They also arranged for the nearby Natwest branch to take some of the customers; the other branch also extended the opening hours for the day. The staff who served me was helpful and nice. A positive customer service experience.

I love Natwest because every branch I go into the staff are very helpful and friendly, and approachable. I go here a lot to sort out my banking and they help you all the time which is what I love about Natwest. It gets very busy around lunch time so I would recommend going earlier.

This is not a great branch. They have closed all branches and this one is very basic.

Went in to get a mini statement from the desk yesterday. The woman serving got me what I wanted but seemed incredibly miserable.

Came in to deposit all my coins I had for years laying around. Firstly the staff looked at me like I was a tramp or something and then they demanded I had to input my card in a machine before using the coin drop. I had already out my coins in the coin drop they was telling me I need to move away and put my card in a machine. I was not there to withdraw cash but to use the coin drop. Why tell me to move away from my cash and then someone else could easily take it?

From what I understand you use the coin drop then you take a voucher to get cashed in your bank.

Luckily there was a man who said what I was doing was fine and to carry on but the other man was very rude. All the staff should be trained not to look at people like trash.

Most useless banking experience I have ever had!!! Machine in the bank stole my money and still 2 months down the line I have yet to receive the money back, despite 3 visits to the store to sort the problem!

I contacted customer support online and told them i had a very specific problem to fix and they gave me a number, the number told me to go into a branch, and then once i went into the branch the African security guard wouldn't even let me talk and tried to already guess what i wanted even though he didnt have a clue, a staff member then told me to stand outside for 30mins. best of luck, ill never try make an account with your nasty bank ever again

Went to use counter service to sort out an emergency as my card reader is not working, but they don't do this on a Saturday.
Also, why are folk still queueing outside (in the cold) to get into this branch - the Whitgift Centre branch doesn't do this. Apart from Barclays doing this, there is no good reason for this to happen as restrictions have lifted. The branch is spacious enough to queue inside.
Having no counter service on a Saturday is annoying, especially as there are 3 Natwest branches within the area and 2 of them closed.
Been a Natwest customer for nearly 40 years and it's the first time I can say I'm really disappointed 🙁.

Always busy as there is one person on the help desk and 3 members of staff standing around. Recently went in to simply change one of my accounts from one type to another. After 15 minutes of queuing I was told this was impossible to do but I would be booked in for an appointment regardless. 25 more minutes of waiting for someone to see me, and I'm told that can't be done today, but I can be booked in for 3 weeks time to discuss all my accounts and have a financial health check. Went to another branch in the next day and this was sorted within 2 minutes of walking through the door.

Would not recommend this branch unless you need to waste an hour in Croydon and there's no paint to watch dry

Worst banking experience I have encountered as a businessman.
50 minutes queuing to be told that i couldn't transfer funds from one account to another because i not able to demonstrate why I was in Croydon. What,?????
Even though I showed a work pass.. ID, ability to log in to the account for online banking etc etc. What more do they want.
A real case of wilfull ignorance and being patronised has now moved me to close all my Natwest Accounts.

Compared to all other branches (where the basic request has previously been / was later dealt with in seconds)... the staff member was rude; immediately dismissive of my request as something Natwest do not permit; and then publicly ran me through a series of questions designed to highlight that I might be lying that this request had been granted recently. Literally awful.
