This is in my opinion the most mind blowing part of the barbican centre. The amazing way water is played with and included within the residential buildings is amazing! I love as well the contrast with the buildings and how the main theme around the complex is sustainability.. surely worth a visit

Barbican is an amazing dwelling project of the late 70ies. If you like brutalism architecture it is your place. The garden and public spaces are a quite oasis in buzzling London. Visit Barbican center for exhibitions, concerts etc

A great area to visit, walk around and observe the amazing architecture and enjoy the water features, plus book a visit to the conservatory which is almost an unknown tranquil haven in the centre of London.

Stunning and impressive water feature in the middle of one of the Brutalist developments more popular in London (The Barbican Centre). It is unbelievable how the water gardens completely transform the impression of the otherwise harsh architecture.

Pretty relaxing place. Vast area viewing over water features. A lot of people sitting and relaxing on the other side.

Nice place, but little bit hard to find the place what you are looking for. It's a maze.

Amazing space in the middle of the city. I am amazed but the stark contrast between the concrete buildings surrounding it. The Brutalist architecture is something that you either love or hate but the gardens and water in the middle of the estate really feel like a diamond in a rough and creates a stark contrast which is impressive. Great place to walk around or sit to clear your mind and reflect, away from the busy life of London. Come and have a look for yourself.

It was the first time i got to see the beautiful barbican water gardens. When i got to barbican station was a bit confused whether or not it was a good choice. On a sunny but yet very windy day it was the perfect choice. In the middle of the tall building we found this little piece of heaven! So peaceful so relaxing, sitting next to water, listening to the water fountain, enjoying the sun to the fullest and forgetting the wind.

It's nice to escape from the city within the city! Very relaxing to take a walk there and enjoy the water gardens, the noise of the water. Specially when it's sunny outside

I love sitting in this garden in the evening after work. Your can bring your own food /drink or purchase for the cafes at the Barbican Centre.
