Sahaba Mosque

A peaceful and relaxing place to visit is the mosque, which is especially quiet and uncrowded after 2 PM. You can easily spend 20 to 30 minutes there. It's a very beautiful mosque with amazing architecture and is 20 years old.

The architecture of Al Sahaba mosque is stunning, and it truly takes your breath away. The peaceful and calming atmosphere inside is just divine, and you can tell that so much attention to detail has been put into it. It's great that there are shops nearby, so you can explore more after your visit. The staff is super friendly and kind, which adds to the overall experience. It's a place that makes you feel safe and energized again. I would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful mosque! 🕌✨😊

Stunning and absolutely beautiful is the way to describe the Mosque. It's the main and only attraction in the so called "old Market". We even managed to get inside the Mosque. To do so women's have to cover there whole body and men just wear trousers. If your not adequately dressed there is actually a small shop on the right side of the Mosque that give you free dresses to cover.

Beautiful place. No tickets required. Ladies can change their outfit in the changing room. Long sleeve top and trousers required plus covering the head with a scarf. Highly recommended, especially in the evening.

It looks amazing it have two minar 76m long his capacity is 3k Person out side look is great if you want to enter this mosque than visit 6am to 5pm

A wonderful and sensational mosque, I adore its amazing external architecture with several detailed domes which is become a landmark for Sharm El-Sheikh. Also, I am glad that many non-Muslims coming and discovering the Islamic culture by tourist guidances.

Al Sahaba Mosque is the largest mosque of Sharm el-Sheikh, located in the heart of the old Market in the old district of the city. Observing the mosque from the square is a special experience, its beauty is enchanting. Designed by Fouad Tawfik Hafez, the monumental mosque fuses Fatimid, Mamluk and Ottoman style elements into its architecture and interior design.The mosque is built on an area of 3 thousand meters, and it includes two minarets, each 76 meters high, and a large number of domes, and it accommodates more than 3 thousand worshipers. But this is not a historical mosque, but a modern one, it was built in 2016. The mosque, whose name refers to the companions of the Prophet Muhammad, is one of the most important Islamic structures built in the country in the 21st century. Also, it is considered one of the most important in Sharm el-Sheikh and one of the most beautiful in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. Its high minarets are visible from almost anywhere in the Hadaba district, and in the evening it is very beautifully illuminated.

Visited twice. First time was around 11pm and found the inside is only open from 10am till 10pm.

Returned earlier another day, prayed at the mosque after going to the second floor and seeing the beautiful designs and high ceiling.

Note. You will need to give a small donation when leaving if you go to the second floor.

Must see the place in Sharm.
It's located in the heart of the old town.
The second biggest mosque in the city.
Although It looks historical but built between 2011 and 2017 with Mamluk and Ottoman-style elements in its architecture and interior design.

Worth the visit if you’re in Sharm. The guard was very welcoming and took us to the second floor which is no open to visitors except to parishioners on Friday (holy day for Muslims).

It's located inside the Old Market which is a must visit attraction at Sharm.

A very peaceful place, recommended for everyone visits Sharm, even for non-muslims.

Absolutely amazing architecture at the core of the old city. Breathtaking during Salah time when the Azaan is called. Defo recommend going there during day light to appreciate the amazing architecture and offer prayers and returning at night to see how it’s lit up.

Al Sahaba Mosque of Sharm el Sheikh is made using Ottoman architecture and it is considered the most important mosque built last years.
It was built by the Egyptian Army and you can visit either you are a Muslim or not.
Inside not so spectacular.
