The Heavenly Cathedral in Sharm El Sheikh is a remarkable Coptic church, standing as a testament to the fusion of faith and artistic expression. It is the largest and most recent Coptic church in the area, garnering international recognition as one of the world’s top ten most beautiful churches in 20101. This architectural marvel is located in the Hay el Noor district and was built at the turn of the 20th century. It’s a beautiful cathedral and it’s open 24 a day. I would recommend going to the piety shop to get some holy items such as icons and so on. Very peaceful and Christian place. ✝🙏😇

One of the most beautiful pieces of art I've ever seen. 12 artists painted the interior of the building for 6 years. Very worth visiting.

This church is ornated with paintings on almost every conceivable area, with a mix of styles, but everything combines beautifully. The old vitraliums on one side, and the painting with kids from all over the world at the entrance on the other side, convey a message without sermons - perfect for a heavily touristic area. My favorite piece of art here is the crowned lion with the lamb face on top, portraying Jesus, who is compared both with a lion and a lamb. Genial.
One small criticism - I expected to see a less European-looking Jesus, given that we're in Egypt, and Jesus is from Israel.

Please visit this place. It is very amazing and one the most beautiful church that I was in in my life. It is compared in style and luxury and painting to France or Rome so it is the world most beautiful league of churches. It is the best way to hire taxi and go by your own and stay more time there with children, there is many places to see and visit. Also 10 minutes walk on the right there is a catholic church. It is also worth to see it.

It's one of the beautifulest church in Egypt for Christian. It is modern with gorgeous pictures of all saints. Especially the Christ's history of life and many other icons from Bible. Recommended for visiting for tourists.

Having been to many Cathedrals in England and Europe including the Sistine Chapel I was amazed to find such a beautiful Cathedral in Sharm El Sheikh. The artwork which adorns the walls and ceiling is beautiful. The visit was made even more memorable by Yusuf a young boy working at the temple who gave us a 3 to 4 minute overview of the Cathedral and the artworks.

The Heavenly Cathedral is Sharm’s newest and biggest Coptic church. Voted one of the world’s 10 most beautiful churches in 2010, when it was finished, it features impressive frescos and religious murals of Biblical scenes such as The Creation and The Exodus. Built in only two years, the cathedral is located in the Hay el Noor district, not far from the twin minarets of El Mustafa mosque. Prepare to be blown away by St John’s vision of The Apocalypse, which can be seen staring ominously down from the ceiling.

This place was a complete pleasant surprise for me! With that passion that the worked was talking about faith, church and Jesus in Egypt was worth seeing and hearing. Interesting was also to touch and see a Bible written in Arabic, never seen such before. Worth visiting for all Christians as soon as you are in Sharm.

The stained Glass Windows, and the Gold colours of the ceiling is and walls around the icons, combined with the Brass decorations of the two main Barriers of the Church add super elegance and style to the place.

This is the most beautiful Cathedral I have ever been to. This place is definitely worse to go to. Outside it looks interesting but nothing super special. However, when you are inside, the most beautiful place! I was there once and I hope to go there again. You definitely have to go there with a guide because this place has an interesting history.
