Cafe Riese Köln

I can recommend it for a quick bite , breakfast or just coffee.. very beautiful atmosphere.. typical coffee restaurant with a lot of different sweets, cakes and pastry

We have to come here for breakfast, sandwiches and every baked good, cookie or cake one could imagine.

Nice and clasic place to have some afternoon treats, especially if you skipped the lunch. The amouse bouche is very nice, you can choose from a lot of types and if you take 3 you get a prossecco glass. :) The cakes arr very nice, traditional and not so sugary but full of flavour. Great service! And don t forget to prder the soup of the day, we tried the white asparagus cream soup and it was delicious! A must visit place in Cologne, for sure!

Brilliantly warm and friendly place. I was here for Karneval weekend and the whole place was decorated, with some servers in fancy dress, which was super cheerful. Amazing selection of cakes and treats to eat in or take away. Will definitely be returning to try more of the cakes, as one was more than enough to fill me up!

Found this Cafe by chance. Cakes were amazing and extremely tasty. When in Cologne it will now be my first stop.. all I can say is yummy.😻

The waitress was extremely friendly and went out of her way to help me.
The ice cream was very tasty, I would definitely come back if I'm in Koln.

I love the waffle here. It must be the best in the world. I love the berries and cream. So delicious! Highly recommend to order this.

Everything was perfect.. lovely friendly service on a very busy Saturday morning. Pancakes amazing, eggs Benedict absolutely delicious. Definitely more than worth a visit..not to be missed!

Amazing biscuits and the waffle was a treat! Friendly staff as well even though it was a full house and very busy.

Cafe established many years ago offering great simple food at good prices and excellent service.

I highly recommend the kölner Dom waffel, it was amazing. Make sure you ask for the warme schokolade, you won't regret it

Nice place, great food! Everything looked very delicious so I didn't know what to pick. I got chocolate cherry cake for which Germany is famous for which was delicious. Admittedly I've had better but not by much.

A real surprise! Not just the street café but a large indoor restaurant area. An excellent selection of food and drink, everything was delicious.

Stopped for a coffee and snack, I would go back anytime
