A trustworthy government-run specialty cigar (and coffee and rum) Boutique shop located in the heart of the Varadero resort strip. They offer a great selection of authentic Habanos cigars which are sold at the government listed prices. The professional staff are knowledgable and can certainly help you find the perfect cigars. Helpful tip, do some research on Habanos cigars before you visit to make the interaction with the staff that much more efficient for all as they often have many customers at once so the more you know the easier it is for everyone to get what you want quickly with no fuss. I’d suggest having a few different cigar brands and sizes (such as the very popular Montecristo No.4, Partagas Serie D No.4, Hoyo Epicure No.2, etc), and knowing their prices (most non Cohiba cigars are ~$5-$13 CUC, $7-$16 CDN, $6-$14 USD each cigar, so knowing how much you want to spend is helpful in advance as many cigars come in full 25 boxes but some can be found in 3 or 5 packs and the per cigar price is the same regardless of how many you buy...I.e. no discount for buying more).
The ladies at the shop are great and will be sure to help you get the right cigars for whatever occasion and budget you’re working with.

The preferred LCDH in the Varadero region and the prices are spot on as per pricing lists available. If you are nice enough and know your stuff, you will even be allowed into the walk in humidor.

They have several store branches throughout Cuba, they have genuine real cigars where you can buy, the price is a bit high but you are sure the cigars are not fake

Best place to get your souvenirs! Cuban Cigars, Havana Club Rum (better price than the airport), Honey, Coffee, all in one shop! We took a cab to Plaza America and found this jewel of a shop!

I purchased a box of Ramon Allones and a box of Juan Lopez both were accurate at government prices $151.25 CUC, at our hotel they wanted $201 CUC for the Ramon Allones. I stopped while a taxi cab was waiting for me and realized I was there after the store had closed. The women working there were still in the store and let me in and I was able to complete my purchase. I was very pleased with their service and pricing. Thank you!

Awful customer service, the best customer service from a cigar shop was the Melia international hotel Varadero and a decent selection of cigars.

Staff here are the best I found while visiting a number of government cigar stores. Helpful and knowledgeable.

They don't take cash. Booo! Credit card only. Go downtown varadero for shops that accept cash.
