Iberostar Playa Alameda

Just came back from this resort. What a beautiful place. Resort is absolutely beautiful. Most beautiful beach. Food was fantastic. No shortage of anything. Staff will go out of their way to help with anything you need. Judith at front desk will make sure your stay is comfortable. Rooms, washrooms very clean and spacious. Great entertainment from music get together at 8pm. Then show, and disco after if you like. Beach party was so much fun. I would recommend this resort 100%. 👌 🇨🇺⛱

The beach is stunning. Some days hard to get chairs but if you tip the workers they will usually grab one for you. Pool is great and a lot of activities everyday. Mary was our favourite bartender/server at the snack bar! Room was fairly nice, nothing overly special but we never ran out of TP! From what I’ve heard from others who have been to Varadero I think the food at this resort is better in the sense that there is a bit more variety from day to day(Good for Cuba standards) Drinks were good but sometimes availability would be an issue. Adults only which was also a big plus for me! Cuba has a lot of shortages right now so with that knowledge I would say I was happy with this resort.

This is our second time at this resort. It was even nicer than the first time. The food was really good, service at the bars and restaurant was excellent. Thanks to Jessica we found out that return customers get extra perks such as late checkout, special dinner. :)
The beach is very nice too.
A special thanks to the bartender at the Bucanero bar. He makes the best lemonade.

We are here right now, the weather is beautiful, the pool is fun and clean. The staff are all super nice and very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are happy and smiling.
The food is plentiful. Coffee in the morning is delicious. Drinks are good. The afternoon fun at the pool brings smiles and laughter. The nightly entertainment is good. Will definitely be back.

The dancing was amazing!!! I love the entertainment staff. They were amazing and friendly and so nice. Lisa was amazing and so nice and instructive about the dance moves. She helped me figured out the moves to do the dance moves. It was amazing. I laughed and had a grand time. ❤❤❤

Wow, What a time!! Resort was great, Natalia and Ernesto are the people to go too. Staff was really nice. Rooms were not great but good enough for a resort with beaches as nice as this one. Food at the restaurants were good but the buffet not so much. Hours at the buffet were weird. Water is a scare resource along with Toilet Paper. If your looking for a great place to go too with friends this is your spot

My wife and I we spent 7 days at this resort and we had great time. This was one of many trips to CUBA and as always we made great friends there. The resort wasn't to big so it worked out great for us. The beach is very nice and clean as well as the grounds around. People working at the resort were always smiling and friendly. Please remember this is Cuba and they can only give what they can get but there is always plenty of smiles and sunshine. We can't wait to come back again one day.

Sad to be leaving today. First time visitors to Cuba and our stay at Iberostar Playa Alameda has been wonderful. Could not ask for more accommodating staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We enjoyed both the beach and pool areas during our stay. Our room located in building 17 was great as we requested to be closer to the beach area. Food and drinks were always plentiful. As a first time visitor to Cuba all of expectations were exceeded! Returning back to Cuba again I would book this hotel without hesitation!

Beautiful resort, food is so much better than we expected. Lots of variety. Drinks are great and service is good, all workers are very friendly. So close to varadero for a day trip to the market and for lunch. The magic show was very impressive. The rooms do need upgrades, the beds are not the comfiest but you don't spend that much time in them.

Had a wonderful trip. Everything fantastic. The best are the workers. They are wonderful, they work hard and do everything to help to make your stay here great. Especially entertainers. Frank in the cigar bar is aces! The girls at the pool bar do a fabulous job. I can't say enough about the people. Our room was very clean. And the cleaners do a wonderful job and they are lovely. We love it here. The best!

This is my favorite resort both in and outside of Cuba! I was extremely happy with the selection and quality of food and drinks, the room, and especially the service. The staff here are all absolutely amazing. The beach is stunning and I loved the view from my balcony.

Amazing resort. Most friendly staff you'll ever meet. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The beach is incredible and very clean. The food is great (for Cuba) with big selection. Some of the rooms are a little outdated but very clean and in great condition considering how hard it is to get materials in Cuba! There is always entertainment with a different show every night. If you have any problems the resort will be sure to help you. Highly recommend this resort.

This resort is amazing. The food is typical Cuban, but lots, considering local people are starving!! North Americans need to put their spoiled lives aside and enjoy the stunning beach, incredible town, but most important the amazing staff. They go above and beyond to help with the little they have to work with. Be thankful people and show some love. Bring shampoo and conditioner to give your cleaning staff, toothpaste, toothbrushes, candy, gum, these things cost locals a months wages. And tip extravagantly!! We are blessed, share the wealth.

I like the resort the service was amazing. The rooms were nice. The food was interesting… To be completely honest, I would come back here dependant on the fact that it was my first trip to Cuba.

One thing I’ll advise is to definitely bring cash on you! Cuba is a cash society so it’s pretty cool when you think about it. 😄

Loved it!, 😍 our third time here staff is amazing. There were some shortages but it's cuba and they try their best our maid was amazing had a wonderful vacation! Miss everyone from there can't wait to go again

My husband and I have a special place in our hearts for this resort that we have booked our third trip for the end of April! It will be our 4th time in Cuba, but once we discovered this resort with its amazing staff, beautiful beach, plentiful buffet and wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, we knew this was the only resort for us, and have been returning as often as possible! Honestly, the staff are what makes this resort stand out. They are friendly, kind, (and can be hilarious when you get to know them) and so helpful! They try so hard to make sure each guest is having a great time on their visit and I know it hurts them when people give them 1 star reviews over nonsense like "saw a bug" (you're on an island in the Caribbean, duh) or "didn't offer french fries every meal of every day at buffet"(it's Cuba they don't have the same access to supplies that you might back home). If you want to enjoy a relaxing, chill, Cuban vacation then this is the place for you! We brought my family last time and even though my parents have some mobility issues, they did their best to accommodate us and make us comfortable, and we all had a fantastic time!
Can't wait to be back!

Absolutely love this resort! We've already been here twice because my husband and I had such a lovely vacation the first time we came with friends, that we brought my family the 2nd time! We hope to be able to return at least 1 more time and keep making memories of all the wonderful moments that this resort and its people have worked tirelessly to make possible for us.
Honestly have so many pictures of everything because it was all so amazing! Can't wait to go back!
