Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero

I will only come back to this resort in Cuba. Our experience was absolutely amazing! I can’t believe I am saying this but the food was actually amazing. The beach area is vast and clean. The room are pretty clean. The entertainment at the lobby in the evenings were fantastic. I am so very pleasantly surprised to say my experience was absolutely amazing!

This is my second time coming to the resort, and I brought a group of friends, because the first time I was here was absolutely fantastic with no problems at all. I highly recommend to anybody coming to Cuba to do the Bella Vista because this is one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed in. Hands-down, the best part about my vacation was meeting Charlie. He is the life of the party and he is the reason I came back here. He made the whole trip fantastic.. I don’t know how else to put it other than the resort is five stars Charlie is five stars, and the rest of the workers are absolutely amazing, this place is beautiful. You will not regret staying here.

Great resort. First time in Cuba and we loved our stay. Food wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. We got ocean view room and it was great. Service was very good, so beautiful beach. Loved our stay.

We had the best time! Bella Vista is an amazing place to stay!! Fantastic service the beach is superb! The staff took great care of us and we thank all of our servers for their hospitality, especially Charlie for always taking the time to say hello! First of all!! The food was good! I know Cuba gets a lot of ate on that aspect but at this hotel, it's worth the upgrade to the prestige package. The ocean view rooms are truly a sight to see. The staff are all Amazing. Our guest services host Diana, was the perfect hostess! She took care of everything for us and always did it with a smile! She always checked for satisfaction. Truly a most amazing person. The beach was clear warm waters. Just remember to get up early to get some shaded seats. trust me , you're gonna want some shade. All in all, an amazing stay at this hotel and I highly recommend it.

We had a great time at this resort, GET SEAVIEW ROOM they are worth every penny! The staff is friendly, the rooms are okay a little old but not bad at all, tip well, the cleaning ladies, I find do a great job with the cleaning if you tip them well and treat them with respect as they deserve, the food was decent not as bad as some people make it seem, the beach is beautiful, pools are fun for the kids, the kid entertainment is awesome, they know how to keep the kids having fun, the shows, drinks are all good,VISIT VARADERO TOWN it was fun and lots to see and explore! we will definitely hopefully be back soon!

I came alone in varadero and picked this hotel for its room views (the ocean view rooms are awesome).
No need to speak about the color of the water and its warmth (because it is amazing), but the hotel ensures all inclusive services with discretionary alcohol drinks (and very well prepared), as well a variety of food.
A great special thanks that made my stay very special are the activities organized by the hotel, there were dancing/entertaining shows every day and Dariel was the star of my stay. He can certainly make your stay one to remember!
All the staff is great and very nice to the guests. This hotel is very safe, as all Cuba is very careful with its tourists.

We were welcomed with open arms and started with phenomenal customer service by the front desk staff the bar team and housekeeping staff!

For our first experience on our honeymoon to Cuba, when we were introduced to DIANA she helped make it INCREDIBLE!!! She is kind caring loyal and available for anything or any questions that arose! She’s an absolute pleasure!

The resort was just amazing, the sea was crystal clear with white sand.
The food was fantastic with locally sourced seasonal veggies, fruits and fish; in just a week spent there we felt even more healthy and in better shape.
The only down side was that smoking was allowed basically everywhere. For sure somebody's smoke stench will reach you multiple times a day. Very disappointed that the tourists simply dropped the cigarette butts in the sand on the beach.
We'll try to go back for sure anyway.

I really don't know where to start.
I've been to Cuba several times but I've never stayed at this Iberostar Hotel. (which is, after all, a large hotel chain in Central America).
I really understand some of the difficulties you have in Cuba.
But this Hotel went beyond all possible limits of common sense.
I HAD TO CHANGE ROOMS AN UNBELIEVABLE 4 TIMES!!!
Because each one had a different maintenance problem,
(I'll include photos and videos)
❌ Broken shower
❌ Broken door handle
❌ Broken Door
❌ Air conditioning didn't work
❌ Mold and dirt on the sheets
❌ Construction noise in the suite next.
❌ TV didn't work.
❌ And in the 4 ROOMS I STAYED in, the safes didn't work and the TV remote control didn't work!

The hotel is very big and there is not enough maintenance.
He didn't even reach the rooms they put me in.
The management is terrible.
I think they should close part of the hotel so they can better maintain the facilities.

The only thing that saves this hotel is the entertainment, the pool ✅

❌ I don't recommend going to this hotel because honestly they need a lot of maintenance in this hotel and new management.

My first time out of my country and this place is amazing. Charlie always smiling, helpfull! A good person on the team! Rosy wow fast and caring! Ill come back just for them they make my time here better!🩶🫂

My family and I had a wonderful time at Iberostar Bella Vista, and it was largely due to the wonderful staff who made our stay unforgettable. From housekeeping, to entertainment staff, bartenders, wait staff and everyone in between, everyone greeted us with warmth, care and ensured every aspect of our stay was enjoyable.

Maya, the kid's club instructor, was absolutely fantastic! Her energy, enthusiasm and ability to connect with the children is remarkable. Maya constantly put in the effort to fill every day with fun, engaging activities. Her creativity and patience were evident throughout every activity every single day. Maya creates a safe and welcoming environment, where kids are always eager to return. Maya's passion and dedication are admirable and we thank her for her kindness and smile every day!

The entertainment staff are just as phenomenal, especially Ali. Ali's kindness and patience were truly incredible. He was always with a warm smile and he consistently included us in various activities, making sure we all felt welcome. He generously took the time out of his busy schedule to teach us dance and Spanish phrases. Ali's friendly and approachable nature made us feel like a part of the resort's family.

We also had an exceptional waiter at the buffet. Yoire made every meal of ours at the buffet amazing, his helpfulness and warm demeanor were very much appreciated. Not only was he attentive, ensuring we got our drinks promptly, but his friendly nature and sense of humour made each mealtime fun! Despite the bustling nature of the buffet, Yoire constantly made us feel not only like valued guests, but family. Although we mostly sat with Yoire, the other wait staff we encountered were just as outstanding, sincere and always did their best to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Charlie, the entertainment coordinator, is truly the most special of all. His infectious energy, constant smiles and enthusiasm for engaging guests in fun activities were outstanding! From morning to night, Charlie was going all around the resort ensuring every single guest was having a good time, spreading joy, and of course, dancing! His dedication to ensuring each and every guest had a good time was evident in his interactions, he always radiated positivity and love. Whether it was poolside activities, evening shows or impromptu dance lessons, Charlie's vibrant personality made every moment enjoyable. His ability to involve people of all ages in various activities is commendable. It is so hard to find people with such good work ethic these days, but Charlie was the hardest worker I've seen in a while. He really goes above and beyond for guests and fellow staff members. The resort truly came alive with Charlie's presence and our vacation wouldn’t have been the same without him! We're so grateful for Charlie's kind-heartedness and the lasting memories he helped us create!

My family and I are immensely grateful for all the hotel staff we met on this vacation. Their hard work and kindness made our vacation exceptional and a ton of fun!

Good hotel and service! I advise to upgrade to premium to have better access to the restaurants and pools. One of the nicest staff ever, welcoming and super friendly especially lineth! I recommend it for sure 😊

We had a great experience at Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero. I went there with my husband and we had a blast. We totally loved the animation of the place, specially at night because they had great shows and dances, also the people there were full of energy and good vibes. There was this lady at the hotel called Indira that helped us absolutely with everything we needed and she made sure we were having a good time, she was absolutely the best.
We will definitely come back soon for second round vacation.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The service from Diana in Star Prestige is amazing. She helped us with everything we asked! Wonderful person and place. Without Diana we would not have had as nice of a trip. Can’t say enough.

great view from the room, decent food, nice service. their alcohol and cocktail are not good because they put too much ice in and the weather is hot, the ice melts so fast, so the alcohol tastes like water. Kindly reminder, let them put less ice in your drink.

Such a fun time we had at Bella Vista. I went there with my whole family and the expirience was exceptional. The part we enjoyed the most was recreation, the guys gave an exclusive show and got everybody to dance with them. Indira help us a lot, specially making sure we were having a goof time.
