We have been in the hotel for 6 days already, we are leaving in 2 days. I just have to say that we love this hotel, the beach is amazing. Staff is wonderful. We have no complains at all!! Hope you guys keep doing an amazing job! We will be back for sure.

3rd visit in 10 years. Lovely hotel with very pleasant workers. Grounds are impeccable, rooms and buildings are being upgraded along with the pools. When completed this hotel will be back to its 5 star Cuban standards. Our requests were met and our stay was awesome. We met a great new friend Dania at customer service who we adored. We are a group of ages 5 to 62. We would definitely return to this h9tel in the future.

This is my first time at this resort . The entertainment team is fantastic. Always keeping us entertained. Cleopatra is my favorite. The resort is beautiful and lots of renovations being done. Love this place .

The most friendly staff, each one is amazing!! Lots of food to eat, water in our room always. Clean sheets, towels everyday!! We can not think of a better place to spend our Christmas holiday at. Entertainment top notch. Please do not hesitate to book here as it is so beautiful the beach grounds and pools ❤🎄❤

This resort is beautiful and so welcoming. Everyone on staff is super nice, engaging, and helpful. I went with my family and they were so accommodating to our needs. The animation team was exciting and very lively. The evening shows were amazing and the dancers were very professional. The Chhristmas, new years, and beach parties were filled with great music, dancing and fun.

Warm and welcome reception and elegant appointed rooms, every detail reflects thoughtful hospitality. The attentive staff ensures a seamless experience. Overall great ambiance and service.

Visited Laguna Azul in February 2024 and staying for a week. So far great experience, the rooms we are staying are huge and clean. The service has been great as well for my family. Location is great as we can walk to the beach every morning. Varadero downtown is also very close.

Third time at this resort. Wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We requested a ground floor room and Dania Alonso from customer service took care of that for us before we arrived. She is the best person here to help with all your needs.The beach is the best. Having a great time.

An absolute dream vacation! Had a wonderful time. The staff were exceptional. Food was pretty decent compared to what I'd been told. Three restaurants to make reservations at. Lots of activities. Gorgeous spot on the beach. Would absolutely go here again

It's been great. Beaches and staff make the resort, definitely. The odd time youbwill find they run out of a cola or something insignificant... just be ready and willing to shift on the fly. 1

Get ready for an unforgettable experience! My Christmas and New Year's at Iberostar Laguna Azul in Varadero were nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I walked in, the explosive warmth of the staff, including the incredible entertainers like Yandy aka Candy Boy, Carlos, Joshua, Lázaro, KingKong, Ernesto, and sexy Alex, just to name a few, created an unforgettable experience. As a solo traveler, I never felt alone, thanks to their engaging activities and welcoming energy. The strong connections I formed with everyone, especially the entertainment team, made this one of the best experiences of my life. The plenty and variety of food, including fish, meat, veggies, desserts, and drinks, were delightful. Daily events kept me busy, and a special shoutout to Marino (entertainment manager) for organizing everything seamlessly.

Moreover, the rooms were always impeccably clean and tidy. Whenever I needed something, the staff attended to it right away, adding an extra layer of comfort to my stay. Laguna Azul is a must-go-to resort that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. Can't wait for my next visit!

We had a beautiful 2 week stay here. It is our first time returning to Cuba after the pandemic and we noticed how hard it hit the country as a whole. Yes, the resort has faced a decline as a result, but we didn't let this tarnish our trip. The staff is absolutely amazing and went out of their way to provide us with anything we needed. We upgraded to the "Relax Zone" (adults only and highly recommended in order to access the breakfast/lunch restaurant/quiet pool). Our servers Kenia, Rody, Noel, and Hector were very kind and attentive. We will miss them and the morning omelettes. The dinners at the restaurants were fairly good (far superior to the buffet) so make sure to wake up early and book your reservations. The Christmas and NYE buffet dinners were outstanding...we had lobster both times. Our room was cleaned daily and always had fresh towels and toilet paper. The resort sadly had no access to pop (aside from on NYE) but we managed to find other things to drink. At night, we enjoyed having a quiet drink with our friends in the Cohiba lounge upstairs. Shout out to Pabel, Yosniel, and Geisha for excellent service and great conversations. We will miss you too! Overall, this was a fantastic, relaxing trip. We will return :)

Iberostar is a great hotel, Great service. The rooms are very clean with good entertainment at night. There are always buses and taxis ready to bring you anywhere outside the resort. All in all, it is a very good hotel stay.

First time at this resort, super clean everywhere you go with lots of little areas to shop on the resort. Varadero is just a jump away on an extremely affordable bus that takes you right to the market.
The staff are so friendly I feel like they're family and the pools are always the perfect temperature. It's definitely a good vacation spot and I'd consider coming back if I were to return to Cuba!

This hotel has the best staff who treat you like family. Great service. Dania goes over and above to make sure your stay is fabulous. This is our second time to this resort and we will be back many more times.

Beach is incredible…hard to leave

Absolutely amazing resort. Bus to town picks up really close to the resort making it easy to go into town. The resort offers everything including an amazing beach with a full service bar and 24hr snack bar located close to the beach

It was a very good experience, I will definitely be coming back. The beach is beautiful, the food was good and the room was comfortable. All the shows were done very well I love the entertainment team especially Candy Boy.
