If you want to try something different other than boring hotel food. I recommend you have lunch or dinner here. The atmosphere is super cute. They had a live band and your meal is cooked on a grill in the middle of the restaurant. I would definitely go back. I recommend grilled fish.

This place is amazing !!!!!!! Best food I’ve ate in Cuba. I read all the bad reviews and people complain about the 10% tip (not sure where they are from but in Canada I tip up to 20% sometimes more depending on service and food. 10% is nothing) our cab driver brought us here because we were in the area. Very safe, very clean, service was great and everyone smiled. I would go back. We tried 3 appetizers and our party of 8 almost all had different meals and no had anything bad to say. Try it, you won’t be sorry!

Very charming restaurant with an outdoor grill in a lovely patio. They serve typical cuban meat and fish dishes, great entrees and the lobster is to die for!!!

Alot of reviews are saying this is a tourist trap.

Our taxi driver did recommend this place to us. Does he get a free lunch or kick back for doing so? Probably Do I care? No.

I had a beautiful grilled fish, lobster tail and octopus. Probably one of the best seafood meals I've ever had. Fresh fish perfectly cooked. Great mojitos, friendly waitresses.

I think the negative comments are mostly coming from people who come from countries without a tipping culture.

I Canada, we tip. And the Cubans know that... So if you're going to be cheap in this place, don't expect the best service.

Can't say enough about this Place.. Thanks to Junior and his staff for making our visit spectacular. Food is totally on point, flavours explode in your mouth with every bite...the best we have had in Cuba.. Was so good that we went back next day to see if it was a fluke... It was fantastic.
I will recommend that everyone should try this place at least once in their visits to Cuba, but Veradero specifically.

Delicious food shrimp beef and lobster and rice amazing atmosphere great people and musicians were fabulous!!!! Tiki torches and open air BBQ spot!!! Best place on the island for dinner!!!

Best meal in cuba . I had grilled chicken and it was 2 legs with thighs attached. Huge and very good 👍 recommend for everyone to go there 👏 👍 👌

The food was spectacular. The service was quick and on point. Probably the best lobster I've had in my life where it was buttery on the inside and the top was super crispy 🤤🤤🤤. I'm still thinking about it days later.

Next time I'm in varadaro, I'm coming here every night.

Excellent Cuban food! If you want to experience real food off resort, this is the place. Talk too a driver or front staff and they'll hook up a drive for you.

Felt a bit nervous pulling up to it, but instantly relieved. Can't imagine how annoyed the musicians are playing Guantanamera repeatedly, as they are excellent musicians. Flan is delicious; crema de queso is delicious. Tostones con una sorpresa are apparently quite typical, very crunchy and presented in a lovely way with generously-strewn cheese.

I've seen the one negative post, and am assuming that the restaurant had an "off" night or "off" meal, but I personally have been there many times with both Cubans and with tourists and nobody has ever been anything but pleased! As for the "everything bathed in butter" comment... I can't relate and certainly find it surprising as butter can be really hard to find in Cuba (for locals) and it's hard to convince me that it would be used to excess in ANY restaurant there. For me, if I do return to Santa Marta this is the #1 place to which I would head!
