Atlantida Bistro Bar

This place surprised me.
The burgers had eggs on them and my drinks had spices that are generally hard to come by here (peppercorn and star anise)... the gin and tonic (as seen below) was one of the best I've had. The detail to the drink made it 10/10.
Please keep the integrity of your drinks the same.
I had a daiquiri and it was so cute/ good tasting as well I wish I took a photo. Overall I am extremely impressed with this place.
Worth noting that my cuban husband also loved the spaghetti here.
I will definitely come back. The prices are fair and the quality is so much more worth it than others in the area.

This is a place we.go back to whenever we visit. The patio is lovely (I've never eaten inside), the menu has good selection. The drinks are tasty and fun! Good value and tasty, well-prepared food.

Absolutely top notch service, food, ambience... Santa Marta struggles with power outages but this restaurant is always open (till 7am😳😳) regardless due to having their own power.

Staff are extremely friendly, attentive, always smiling, trying to help you in every way. The food is REALLY good, fresh fish with rice and various vegetables, amazing hamburgers with juicy patty, decent cocktails and beers. Nice touch with serving beers in chillade copper/metal cups keeping the beer cold without it condensating and dripping like with glass. Prices are more than reasonable. Flavors are exceptional, they have salt and pepper, tabasco if you like and proper seasoning, which is rare in Cuba..

I went at least 2-3 times per week during my month in Santa Marta, it's that good.

Had a great Lobster 🦞 dinner at Atlantida. Had both Lobster meals, salsa and grilled. Meal was exquisite. Service by waitress Gretel, was perfect. She remembers my spicy Michelada selection. Knows what's you want and brings it, before you think of calling for service. Place is by the main street. Layout gives an exclusive outdoor setup. Perfect on Food, Service and Atmosphere. Enjoy 😉

Always had a great experience at Atlantida. The latest time we had the burger as well. Ceviche and some tacos. Everything came out hot, fresh and ready to go. Prices are good and the canchancharas were amazing

We went to this place March 28th and were in a large group. They accommodated and greeted us on arrival with everything ready.

The owners are just fantastic and are easy to deal with. They were such a pleasure to have around and you can see their passion they put into the restaurant. Their manager of operations, Felix went above and beyond to make sure our experience at this place was a memorable one. He did not disappoint and was a blast from the start.

The staff was incredible. Prompt courteous service by all members. They always had a smile, always willing to answer questions or talk about Cuban culture.

The food was incredible!!! If you ever heard of Cuban food tasting bad, go to this place and the food will speak for itself. Prices in my eyes are very reasonable. The quality of food and service you get is unmatched to any other places in the area.

Location of the restaurant is roughly a 10-15min cab ride from the main strip of hotels which is a nice touch.

Will be going back next year when I am back in Cuba!!

An incredible experience at this genuine Cuban bistro. Felix and Jorge welcomed our group with open arms and made us feel like home. Through my 10 days in Cuba, both on and off resort, no meal was as good as the one we had at Atlantida. I recommend everyone in the Varadero area stop in to meet the incredible Atlantida team and have a delicious meal!

Amazing staff great food and great service . My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place after wanting to get away from the resort for her birthday and were greeted by a server Jorge who took his time to go over our options as we both are pescatarian/vegetarian. He advised us the kitchen was closed and we could only serve appetizers but after speaking to his chef he made an exception to serve us dinner . After ordering I wanted to ask for a side of rice again he advised us rice could not be served at this hour (2am) but again after speaking to his chef they were able to accommodate us by serving rice with our dishes. Overall the atmosphere was calm, modern and Latin jazzy. Jorge and Roger were super friendly and helped us out tremendously even calling our taxi after we were done. Gracias hermanos!

I absolutely love this bistro. For starters the bathroom is super clean and has toilet paper and if you have been to Cuba you would understand that is a big deal. The food us fresh answer very tasty and the service is amazing. The tornados are to die for.

What a wonderful and vibrant little restaurant. Excellent food and great drinks, but more importantly such friendly service! They go out of their way to make sure your having a great experience. Would definitly recommend if going to be in the area!

I,ve recently returned home to Edinburgh after backpacking around Cuba for 3 weeks , i spent time in Havana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Camaguey, Santa Clara and Vinales . I also had the very good fortune to find Atlantida while i stopped for a few nights in Santi Marta , Varadero. The food and coctails were the best i had in the entire 3 weeks, fresh and delicious , good sized and extremely well priced for the food service etc with the staff totally superb , warm friendly and extremely helpful and professional . I went here every night of my stay . Must be up there as one of the best in Cuba . Thanks guys

this place is very good one of the best I been to in varadero prices are very good they don’t try to scam you when you are a tourist just wow … I would recommend this place to any tourist …. Service impeccable drink are good food amazing staff are amazing

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Cuba. The food is reasonably priced (very cheap for North American standards) The service was beyond excellent, and the food is fresh and delicious. This will be my first stop next time I come to Cuba.
