Gran Caribe Villa Tortuga

There are certainly place for some improvements when it comes to hygiene in bedrooms and toilets, but this issue is easy to resolve. You just need to ask for a better room. Beach is breathtaking, sea is crystal clear, food is very good. A lot of tropical fruits for breakfast. Pool is very nice, beach and pool bar are always open. Staff is just great!

We LOVED this place and are thinking of coming again. The staff were SO friendly and obliging, they were having fun working, which is a real change from a decade ago.

The food is plainly cooked (and overcooked sometimes) BUT since it's grown organically, it tastes wonderful. There were always a ton of choices and the ice cream and cakes were to die for.

We upgraded to the oceanfront superior rooms and started out on the ground floor but due to the sand dunes, our ocean view was blocked. We asked the next morning to change and we moved up a floor and got our view.

We were in the B building and A or C is closer to the ocean, so we'd recommend 2nd or 3rd floor in those buildings. The resort has a huge open air lobby and bar, the pool is great, very family friendly, a few dogs and cats around but super well behaved and well fed too.

OK, so there's some cosmetic things that might knock this down a rating - like no toilette paper in the public washrooms - so bring a roll. No big deal. Bring your own travel mug as the plastic cups fall over and are really small. Save the planet too.

Really great experience, overall staff was nice and helpfull, they helped resolve any concerns. Beach is awesome, and lots of activities. Buffet was OK, the hotel restaurant was pretty bad but there are many restaurants that you can go on the streets. I wouldn't recommand kiki's club though as we both got sick after eating there. I would recommand Torro's steak house it was really good there. Also renting scooters was easy (right next to the hotel) and fun.

For the money, great. Just more entertainment or something longer than 11 pm for Friday and Saturday. Beautiful beach, apartment nice, can't complain.

As I was told Villa Tortuga is an excellent, part of Varafero. I looking forward to visit sometime in my future. There is where my niece Vero and family resides. they just celebrated their beautifull and talent ed daughter's fourth Birthday. I have received many photos but I have not the expertise to show them yet. This an attempt to comunicate, would somebody answer if possible? Thank you.

El lugar es hermoso y esta muy bien ubicado cerca de sus instalaciones pasan el bus turístico, los cocotaxis, las carrozas y los taxis. El servicio es excelente y siempre listos a ayudarte con una sonrisa, las instalaciones son hermosas, el hotel cuenta con una playa hermosa digna de una postal. Las habitaciones no estan tan mal, hay agua caliente, las camas son cómodas, y hay aire acondionado y televisión, y un buffet con diversos platillos a elegir, todas las noches hay alguna atracción ya sea baile, música, magia, o un show acuático. Un inconveniente sería el limitado internet ya que debes pagar $1 por una hora de internet. Pero si el plan es desconectarse no habrá inconveniente.

Excelente atención, seguridad excelente, limpieza excelente, bebidas las tradicionales de Cuba sin problema, precio excelente para ser hotel 3 estrellas, alberca formidable, comida cubana cosas que no había probado, todo el personal en general en los diferentes turnos que tienen magníficas personas lo recomiendo 100% ampliamente primero Dios voy a regresar gracias por su atención hotel Gran Caribe Villa tortuga VAYAN DE VACACIONES NO SE ARREPENTIRÁN y entiendan que es un país con diferente a muchos no me queda más que agradecer a todos porque me sentí mejor que en mi propio país muy segura sobretodo.

J'ai passé plus d'une semaine là-bas, c'était génial. Bon service de restauration, courtoisie exceptionnelle du personnel. Les chambres sont bien aérées.
