Downtown Varadero

I took hop-on hop-off bus from Melia Las Americas to downtown Varadero. Cost $5 per person. You buy full-day ticket in the bu . The area is full of cozy shops for a souvenir. Good restaurants as well. I got coconut from street with $5. You can take old fancy cars or horse cart for $5. Must go to place if you are visiting any Varadero Resort

Love it! We took the tourist hop on/off bus for $5 CA. Lots of leather good to buy- very affordable! Beach is as beautiful as it gets, prepare to end your sunny walk with a jump in the ocean! Lots of pretty spots to take photos. We took the horse and buggy ride as well. Not as many food options, may be better off packing your own snacks from your hotel, don’t forget your water bottles! It’s a long walk, not recommended for the weak kneed, unless you take a private retro cool taxi that waits for you- also affordable- $25!

Varadero shopping centre and market is great, lots of sights to be seen, plenty of shops and restaurants, market really big with tons of holiday souvenirs

Quite and enjoyable walk with choices of restaurant and bar. Prepare your money in advance because some places only charge peso while others only charge dollars. And some of them offer good exchange rate than the others so it’s better to check the places before you go. You can only go to the beach on your walk. It’s amazing to see real life and nice house in Cuba as well.

First time ever being in varadero Cuba. Walked around to see different places, they had Lil shops and restaurants.

They take Canadian and US cash on par. Need to change to pesos. Street is lively, friendly, and safe!

Varadero ist nicht nur eine Halbinsel vollgestellt mit Hotels. Hier findest du alles was man braucht. Schöne Strände, Parks, Shopping Center, Gaststätten und Bars. Ideal zum erkunden ist der Bus. Hop on Hop of. Fünf Euro pro Person und Tag. Es geht aber auch mit der Pferdekutsche oder dem Oldtimer. Aber immer vor Antritt der Fahrt den Preis absprechen. Pro Person. Die Toiletten sind auf ganz Kuba eine Zumutung. Toilettenbrillen gibt es nur selten. Toilettenpapier und Feuchttücher sollten immer dabei sein.
