Guanacaste Medical Center

This medical center and the nurses and doctors that work here are amazing, I received better care here than I would have in Chicago where I was visiting from. I came down with a very sudden UTI that had started around midnight and had spread to my bladder within hours. I needed medical attention quick at 4am. The providers were notified and arrived to the clinic within 15 minutes as they are on call from 8pm-8am. They were extremely professional, aggressive in treating my sickness, gave me an antibiotic IV immediately to stop the spread of bacteria growth. I was so grateful to have had them there when I really needed care. They were all so helpful and kind and also wanted me to come back for more treatments the following 2 days, which really helped me feel better. If you think you need care, do not even hesitate, this medical center will help you. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors that helped me while I was there, I am forever grateful!

How to get treatment for heatstroke and dehydration because of a fever and they were very helpful and clear with explanations. They set me up with an ultrasound and iv and I was out in less than 2 hours feeling much better. Highly recommend

The care I received here was kind, professional, thorough despite me always being a difficult patient (lol). As someone who has worked in the medical system for over 20 years I appreciate good care and would highly recommend this place.

My father is visiting (86 years old) and developed pain near his ear and upper side of his face/ear. Both the doctor and nurse were very attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, and very kind. After the exam and ultrasound he ended up with an Iv with painkiller and anti inflammatory. I’m very appreciative of their work and true kindness.

Everyone was so friendly and saw us very quick, especially since it was New Year’s Day! Very thankful for the service they provided!

While visiting Costa Rica from the states I had a problem with an old injury. The MD in the clinic communicated with my MD in the states to treat me. I was having significant pain and difficulty walking. I was terrified I would not find professionals that could help, however after consulting with my MD @ home a plan was made and I was taken care of with respect and professionalism. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing I had excellent people to help should more problems arise.

I was on holiday and went to this clinic. Very caring and professional staff. Doctor was friendly and great at explaining his diagnosis. Clean office and great English. Very happy.

I had an allergic reaction that developed very rapidly during the night. I arrived at the clinic and Mariela was ready to take care of me within five minutes. She was very comforting and professional. The shots she gave me did not take too long to work. I would recommend this clinic if you have any kind of worry about your health. Better safe than sorry.

I went into Diria Medical Center today and had my infected toe nail removed. They also diagnosed me with a parasite living in my foot (which I had thought was a rash). The ladies who treated me treated me right away and were the absolute nicest. I am so glad I went in.

The cost for my kid to get care from a 'whooping virus' cough was $400 to Diria Medical Center and then they got us an ambulance to Nicoya for $800 (was the closest option recommended by the doctor).

The care was great as caring for any patient should be. We are very greatful that our daughter is recovering well with the public hospital in Nicoya giving great service too with the medical supplies we need to administer over the coming days.

The staff go above and beyond what is required of a little medical centre. Very professional and courteous. Their English is pretty good, and google translate can fill in the gaps.

Fast service, spoke decent English. Knowledgeable staff that helped with a foot infection. Convenient location.

Ik ben in de kliniek goed ontvangen en heel fijn geholpen. Ik was uitgedroogd en had last gekregen van paniekaanvallen. De verpleegster en arts hebben mij onderzocht. Medicatie voorgeschreven en mij aan een infuus gelegd. Ook telefonisch waren ze goed te bereiken en kon ik ten alle tijden altijd langs komen in de kliniek. Ze gaven mij de hulp die ik nodig had. Communicatie in het Engels was ook uitstekend. Mijn dank is groot!

Tuve que asistir al centro médico debido a una herida profunda en la cara causada por una tabla de surf. Me atendieron de inmediato, fueron muy atentas y profesionales. Me tuvieron que coser puntos y lo hicieron genial.
Al llegar a España, me revisaron la herida y me confirmaron lo bien cosida que estaba, incluso me preguntaron si me había cosido un cirujano plástico.
Siempre asusta hacerse una herida profunda en la cara, y más estando lejos de tu país, pero estuve en las mejores manos que podía estar.
Estoy eternamente agradecida a la Doctora Diana Jiménez y a su equipo.
