I am a local home inspector. I know most of the restaurants in the area. I've eaten her 3x now.

Paz was my server. What a nice girl. Super attentive and smiles 😃 from ear to ear. She's from Argentina. Learning English. Speak to her in English. I'm hoping she stays!

I’m not really an online review person, but I love this place so much I felt compelled. My family kept coming back for breakfast every day during our vacation.

Food is delicious and the staff is super friendly and it’s air conditioned!

Get the (Iced) Golden Milk!!!

I also recommend all of the smoothie bowls, especially the jungle bowl!

Our go-to stop for live music. Max did a great job entertaining my team tonight!

Great vibe - love having a morning coffee there with typical breakfast. Have been several times now, and each time, I have made a friend. Will definitely be back on my next trip!

Loved the cafe here! Delicious food! The huevos rancheros were excellent and packed with flavor, and the jungle bowl (smoothie and fruit bowl) was fresh and really delivered on taste. Highly recommend!!

This place has such a great vibe we live the live music variety of seating options (swing chairs) you can play pool if you want. We had the steak and it was phenomenal. Normally I like to try new places and food but am planning another night there!

The vibe here is awesome! The food and drinks were delicious as well. We've been here twice on our stay (and I've would've been back more but my wife suggested we try other places haha) It's just a super chill place to hangout and a have a drink. The staff both times were super friendly and chatted with us. I wish this place was in our hometown. Next time I'm in Tamarindo I'm coming here first.

We came for dinner. Walked in and noticed they have two different restaurants, Juani was great and offered us both menus. We decided for La Oveja over Vieja Oveja menu, had the hummus app, the watermelon/mushroom poke, and the veg noodle bowl. Absolutely delicious, sitting in the patio was chill vibes.
I definitely recommend Juani, he's charming attentive and knowledgeable.
This place, like many in this area, is quite americanized. Speak English, pay dollars, listen to US music. A definite highlight in Tamarindo

You have to go for the awesome live music, try the blue cheese burger and meet the staff. Paz is the sweetest and Kathy is crazy and fun and will always make you laugh (beware you may end up taking shots😆 too many shots) and Jose (Cheo) makes some of the best cocktails in town. Try his spicy margarita with Panamanian pepper instead of jalapeño 😋

Kathy was a wonderful and very attentive server. She had great energy and was very friendly. Highly recommend beverages and live music!

Great food and good varieties of plates. Friendly and attentive staff. A cosy place to sit at with live music when we visited for dinner.

Amazing (well-priced at ₡4,000) Peruvian style ceviche and watermelon juice w/ basil! Lovely servers as well, especially Paz!

This was so delicious food! We had the vegetarian lasagna and the veggie burguer, both were super tasty, better than most places we ate in CR. The servers were all very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. One thing we were a bit confused is that the bill comes with 10% for service and they also ask if you want to tip when you give your card, so it ended up paying two tips..

Really enjoyed my meal here!! The espresso martinis were excellent and our waitress Lorna was so warm and friendly.

La Oveja Surf House is our go to when we visit Tamarindo. Drinks are great and they play live music. Say hi to La Gemela, great server!

Had the pleasure of dining here on 6/25 and I must say everything was phenomenal. The food & drinks (recommended by our wonderful server, Camila :)) atmosphere, vibe and service were all top notch. There’s something on the menu for everyone, particularly for those who avoid meat :) We also had sparkling conversation with Paz, who is just a lovely human. Highly recommend La Oveja! 11/10.

Had a great lunch today with a friend! Everything was delicious and fresh . I had a really nice chicken sandwich with great French fries and my friend got the fish tacos . We were both impressed . i live in tamarindo and hadn’t been there in a while . Can’t wait to visit again ! soon for sure or tonight !
