Nice grocery store that is easily accessible and open late at night. There is lots of parking and is accessible to all. Always impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. There is a great deli and flower shop. The prices are comparable to other grocery stores and when there is a sale it’s a good deal. All your shopping needs for food will be found here, there is nothing lacking.

Been coming here for more than 8 years, the location is always clean, tidy and neat, produce is of great quality, staff are friendly and welcoming and the store maintains relatively low prices. Overall great store, would recommend

I go in every Friday and Saturday and the bakery is the best out of all the thriftys, the bread and buns are so soft. Won’t go to any other thriftys when wanting anything from the bakery.

It's a great grocery store, very friendly staff and fresh perishables. I find it's like the old style family grocer, a great place to shop

A couple of reasons why I love this Thrifty and felt it was time to say something.

I had an order from the deli for some deli trays for a party. When I showed up they informed me that a previous customer accidentally took my 4 trays along their own.

With the party less then 2 hours away, this was a little distressing.

What sets a store apart, for me, is not wether they DO everything right, but what the store does to MAKE things right.

They acknowledged the error and immediately started to fix the issue by remaking my trays. 45 minutes later I had 4 four trays AND they only charged me for 3.

In my option, this is another reason why I shop at Thrifty. I find the staff always go the extra mile.

A second example. A few years ago, at another grocery store that will not be mentioned, I was looking for something and I asked 3 different workers, all of which told me “i dunno”. No attempt to find it, and no attempt to get someone that did know.

This does not happen at Thrifty. They will bring you right to the product, and if they do not know where it is, they will find someone that does.

This sets them apart every time. I love my Thrifty.

I ordered groceries online for my elderly mother Sunday night for delivery Mon morning because I am sick and can’t go near her for a few days. She did know about the $50 minimum delivery fee because I was on the phone with her when I ordered everything to make sure I got it right! I chose no substitutions as she is very specific about her groceries lol. Well, they were out of the small 6 pack of Canada Dry ginger ale (I ordered 2 packs and Schweppes won't do!).

I called Mum a couple of hours after the groceries were scheduled to be delivered yesterday, and she told me they were delivered but "I've had quite a time with Thrifty's this morning".....eeeek....oh no....what???....my bad, I neglected to tell her not to be concerned if an item was not in the order because sometimes they are out of stock and I would get it for her as soon as I could. Note, she lives in a seniors' residence where she is fed lol.

She told me she called the Thrifty's where the order was placed and then called another Thrifty's a little further away.....I will never know exactly what she said, or what went down, but it would have been a lot. She wouldn’t have sounded angry, but frustrated, and Mum does like to talk! double eek....I told her not to bother about it anymore, and I would get the ginger ale to her in a couple of days. At that point I explained their substitution policy to her, how there are fees on the deliveries, and they won’t deliver individual items like that. It never occurred to me she would call you about a missing item……I should have! I know my mother!!

Later that evening I got an email from Mum saying she ran into a Thrifty’s delivery person at her door, with ginger ale in hand, as she was coming back up to her room after dinner.

Dear Thrifty’s, thank you for being so kind to an old lady. Even though your company is not truly local anymore, you have kept customer service and sense of community alive, not to mention you have the best fresh meat, seafood, deli, and bakery of all the chains. It’s always a joy to shop at any of your stores.

A bit of history, I am a Victoria native, and I grew up in Fairfield. My family shopped at the first Thrifty’s in Fairfield Plaza when it replaced Safeway in 1977 when I was 12, and my parents shopped there until 1993 when they moved to the Western Communities. We met Alex Campbell in the early days and we have seen the entire evolution of your stores. Alex Campbell's legacy is shining through here. Thank you SO much.

Always a nice shop, nice customer service and great selection of plant-based products. Great to see the local Very Good Butchers products there! My favorite!

Open until 10 pm for people like myself that get off work late. It's so nice to be able to stop in at the deli and get something fresh and delicious to eat.

Yes it can be a little price, but like they say you get what you pay for.when I go too get groceries I want groceries. I don’t want to travel around endless clothes and other supplies.Great store great staff.😉

When It comes to baked, fresh salad, sushi, or sandwiches, choice of cheese, choice of meat, and entire groceries range comes under one roof, It's called Thrifty. I personally enjoyed their freshly baked and live counters of fresh food. 😍

I want to say a big thank you for the excellent customer service I just received while ordering the grocery order #4068489 I had delivered today. I called a couple of times to asked if I could add a few more things I had forgotten and really needed with this order. I hate having to do that but the Customer service ladies I spoke with were so awesome and friendly. I just want to say, I sure appreciated everything they did for me. The delivery was right on time and everything was perfect. Great Job Thrifty's!

I have been shopping at this thrifties for 35 years. I tend to get mainly specialty items
As they have a good selection of dips and deli fare. The compliments brand is excellent and well priced. Also probably the best and freshest sushi you will find any where - try it

So wonderful. I wanted to place an order from Texas to be delivered to my husband at the hotel he was staying as a surprise for our anniversary. Ran into issue with trying to process an American credit card and they provided a work around and the Customer Care center made sure to contact the store directly to be sure it all went smoothly. So grateful at the personalized care.

I ordered my groceries online.
Disappointed that some of items advertised in flyer were unavailable. I did not get my free chicken as advertised and had to go back to meat department to get it. Staff at meat department were helpfull.Next time I will check my order before leaving store.
Blueberry bagels and perhaps pie was not available when I received my order.

Store was immaculately clean. Well laid out. Staff was very helpful. There was a lot of good gluten-free products. Very impressed.
