Perfect little neighborhood grocery store. Always great instore specials right at front entrance. Hours are pretty good. Unreal deals on different breads. Just be careful in parking lot - small but handy.

Updated review Love this store! Staff is great always helpful and Love the random new things they bring in all the time. They still haven't changed. Love this store it keeps asking me to update them, and all I can say is they are constantly awesome and the best store to grab some good priced groceries in the downtown

I LOVE this little mom and Pap store! Usually they have super cheap yogurt and every type of bread you can imagine and I believe it's either $1.00 or $$2.00 a loaf. Their produce is always fresh and tasty :) I give them five stars fir sure.

Great prices on fruit and veggies and good deals on other things . Friendly helpful staff. Good place to support local business. Good for low income or people on a budget. Store is clean the isles are narrow but still wheelchair accessible. Not open too late.

The small town feeling, while never leaving the city. Various fresh fruits, and veggies on display inside and out. With countless other products to cater to just about EVERY hungry tummies. And with the exceptional pricing!! It's pretty safe to say. "Ya won't EVER REGRET, a visit to Superette".

An excellent place to shop for produce and meat. Very friendly and helpful staff and the prices are excellent with cheaper prices than large grocery stores. I am very grateful that an old time, historic store such as this is still thriving. Keep up the great service you provide to the community.

Amazing little store great deals and friendly outgoing staff! The only store that hasn't dramatically raised prices. I can still buy a bag of groceries for 30- 50 dollars.

Best little secret in town. Take a nostalgic trip through the oldest operating grocery store in Nanaimo. Great deals on veggies, cheese and meat. Quaint and cozy. The staff are wonderful.

Excellent every time! Clean and well priced, best meat and produce in town. I've been going there for 17 years and they've always been wonderful. Covid measures are well watched and the lines move fast, and if you can't quite afford your groceries they'll never let you go without. Best family grocer in town, they deserve your business.

The best way too get maximum bang for your hard earned buck is at Supperette foods, in Nanaimo, if you havn't you really gotta go see first hand you'll wish you had gone sooner... My word, you'll see!!!

Best fresh meats and sausages prepared by a butcher. Hertel's smoked meat also. Great selection of nice local produce varied weekly with the seasons. amazing deals on bread, cheese and imported foods with all the regular groceries you need, diary, frozen, sweets, canned foods. A small family run Conviennent store has everything.

a good selection of fruits veggies and a good meat counter quaint. nice people only discovered this a month ago as new in town but have been back 3x. for fruits and veggies I think better prices than the big box stores

I love Superette! The deals are unbelievable! My favorite it when I get tubs of Greek yogurt for $1.49! It is usually close dated but I eat it within a few days anyway. We buy all sorts of fresh produce, dairy, meats, breads here for reduced prices. ❤

I stop in at least once or twice a week to check out the produce deals - some amazing prices + often have organic greens. The owners or people running it are also feel like genuine good community people + it's a business I like to support.
