Grocery quality is good.
They went out of their way to try and find a sock my grandson dropped!

Best Safeway in Castlegar! Clean store. Good location. Big parking lot. I mean what more can you ask for from a Safeway? Stop by. Check it out. The staff were quite friendly on our most recent visit.

Went in and bought 2 fantastic fresh custom made sandwiches. What a great deli. The young lady was great to deal with.

Had lunch from the deli, and it was quite good as far as grocery store delis go. Would stop here again for inexpensive, quick, low effort travelling lunch.

Best breakfast sandwiches in town at the deli counter. Made exactly the way you want with tons of options for toppings and sauces, all for 2.99 at the time of writing. Be prepared for a line, but it's worth the wait.

Clean, well stocked grocery store with friendly staff. Always come for fresh cut fruit trays, pre-made Salads, great fresh beef chuck burgers and pre-made meals.

Got a balloon bouquet for 16 th b day there. Staff helpful and it was 45$ half the price of Canadian tire.

Small store but well laid out. We got flowers, pizza makings, fresh fruit, a beautiful loaf of artisan bread and a few other goodies to bring to our host. The service at the check out was friendly and efficient.

I also recommend the floral department! My wife is always happy when I come home with flowers or a plant from there.

The staff is always very friendly, and most know me by first name so it is very welcoming. And even the ones that don't are very pleasant. Any issues that I have ever had have been resloved and taken care of with a smile. This is usully my 1st choice when I go grocery shopping.

Modern and bright - clean and well spaced - not like some Safeways where two trolleys won't fit side by side in an aisle.

Overall not the largest selection, but very good for the essentials. Appreciate all the extra steps taken for covid guidelines at the moment!
