Best grocery store in the area with specials and great products.

no frills here but honestly not as bad as a lot of other no frills, it's mostly clean and they actually have staff working which is nice, don't take visa which doesn't really seem like a frill but hey that 1.5% services charge adds up tho I don't really see that reflected in the prices. would prefer to have the frills if it's all gonna be the same price as a superstore. decent tho go get ya eggs and no name butter.

Decent selection of product. Staff are helpful and friendly. Displays are neat and tidy.

Good prices considering the region. This store was similar to all other Lowblaws grocery stores. There a no self checkout lanes. Low ceiling near the produce section. Nothing bad and nothing stood out.

Long lineup as not enough cashiers.

Great prices and all. But rude as hell staff member i came across last friday. Didn't catch her name, but was rude when i showed up at her till with a grocery cart of food. Also ranted about it to other customers. Maybe if she doesn't like dealing with someone who i buying their fill of groceries dont work there.

**Terrible Customer Service Experience**

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting NoFrills Castlegar and encountered some of the worst customer service I've ever witnessed. From the moment I entered the store, it was clear that the staff lacked any semblance of professionalism or courtesy.

Firstly, I stood at the checkout, waiting to be served, only to be blatantly ignored by a cashier who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Not only was this behavior completely unacceptable, but it also made me feel undervalued and disrespected as a customer.

As if that wasn't bad enough, when I finally managed to bag my groceries and leave, I overheard derogatory comments being made about me by the same cashier and possibly other staff members. This level of unprofessionalism is utterly appalling and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.

I urge NoFrills to take immediate action to address these issues. It's imperative to hire employees who are not only competent but also respectful and courteous towards customers. Until significant improvements are made, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Overall, my experience at NoFrills Castlegar was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before patronizing this establishment.
