Calgary Police Service - Chinook Centre Mall Community Station

I’ve been there three times now. Once for a car accident, once for a report check, and once because my ex was threatening to call the police, about mutually owned property, and I wanted advice. My GF also went there on my advice for a police report check.

There are only a couple of cops working out of the station and they all seem pretty friendly and easy to talk to - even they they don’t look friendly AT ALL. They recognize me now and say “Hi! How’s it going!”

The cops are behind bullet proof glass but the door to come in is open, for them to come out, or to go back to talk to them.

I’ve since moved and it’s not the closest station to me anymore. I still go there because it’s less cold and intimidating then the other stations. Also, it’s easy to get there without owning a car.

I got a PIC done and it was done well. The officer was friendly and the place was kept clean. No negative comments! Well done!

I have used the underpass at Macleod and Glenmore for the last 3 years in the last 4 months more and more homeless and drug user's were living there. Last month I put in a complaint about 3 weeks ago I was walking down the ram at 2:30 pm and I woman was at the bottom and looked around the corner show the people in the tunnel and came back up saw me and asked if I would walk with here though the tunnel because the people there scared her. I walked her though. I was also getting worried walking through it. I am 6' 200 pounds but I was worried about walking pass them when they were smoking on their pipe. You do not know what they will do. So I understand why this young woman was scared at 2:30 pm. that is just not right.
So I filed a complaint about this. About 4 weeks ago.
I just want to say thanks to the police officer's for making the underpass safer. It did take about a week but it was cleaned up I use this twice a day 5 days a week the last 3 weeks there has been a few times they were down there, only a few. You can not expect police there all the time but it is obvious that they are going down there and making sure it is safe for us.
Just want to say thanks for doing a great job.

I had a very bad experience atCalgary police services office at Chinook mall. I went there for criminal record check for my work and I was treated very rudely by male officer. He was very upset on me on not changing location on ID. I told him I didn’t know and I ll do but then while filling he got mad at me on address issue. If I have travel because of school then it’s not my fault. There was nothing to be rude for. When I told him that there is no need to be rude he gave me back my 2 peices of id and told me to leave. Very bad experience. I was treated like criminal and just went for record check that’s it. There was nothing to rude for.

Really bad experience here. Wait for help for long time and there attitude makes u feel extremely uncomfortable . The first sentence they said is over 2000 or not? I haven’t even say anything …
