IKEA Calgary

IKEA is so much fun! Always something for everyone but be sure to follow the arrows so you don’t mess up the flow. Very busy on weekends. We always start with the cafeteria breakfast which is simply more nostalgic than it is delicious ha ha! Can’t complain for $4 though 😊

Awesome restaurant here. Very open and friendly staff. I had the meatballs for lunch and it was good. Also, the desert vanilla cone was tasty! 8.99$ for Swedish meatballs, peas, and garlic mashed potatoes.

What an incredible selection of household items and MUCH, MUCH MORE.
Take a few hours and visit at your leisure.

A place that makes me happy every time I go. The shark dolls that can be seen everywhere make me buy one too. The food is delicious, smoked salmon is my favorite! The waiting time may be longer if you buy food on the first floor. The staff are very friendly and happy to answer questions!

Awesome. Got the poang chair and it's sooo comfortable. The only issue is the screws. They had 2 different screws that look identical but ones slightly bigger than the other. But they put the same blue paint on both so it's VERY DIFFICULT to tell which is which. But that's all, otherwise a great experience at store and with my chair.

A very nice, well-stocked IKEA. I liked the way this was laid out with two levels and plenty of shortcuts. The cafeteria was delicious!

Always worth the drive. To get inspirations on decorations and to pick up small things like place mats,candles or napkins. The food they offer is good too and the Hot Dogs...I mean who doesn't like Hot Dogs?🌭

You can find pretty much anything you need for your home here. Plus they deliver if you need it. Bonus that they have a children's area so you can get your shopping done in peace. And the Swedish restaurant is amazing, with great value!

There's a common misconception when it comes to being confident: Most assume you need to build up confidence before taking bold action. But the reality is that you build confidence BY taking the actions...ready or not. You become ready by putting yourself in situations that you don't think you can excel at yet. Take the leap, my friend.

Anyway, this is IKEA, and you get exactly what you expect: affordable, serviceable, assemble-it-yourself furniture. The meatballs shouldn't be slept on, although it seems they've gone up in price.

Plenty of trinkets and home goods here as well: lighting, kitchen storage, plants, stuffies, etc.

Love the meatballs! Today was a really quick stop in fir frozen meatballs and mashed potatoes. So easy to do, access is by the 'Exit' door, and the food items are right there

Great selection at good pieces Probably the best place to spend time going through Furnitures and fixtures and their endless possibilities. The quality of the products is unquestionably good. Overall, a great happy place.

It's Ikea! What can you say? It's the size of an airport full of things to make you want to spend spend spend! You leave with the cost of a flight on your credit card but there's no runway or airplane waiting for you. Rather you go home to spend hours putting things together 😂

Good value and selection! Pleasantly surprised that some household items are actually cheaper than the other guys, for the same quality, e.g. kitchen wooden spoons, non-stick cookware. Also like the prices in the cafeteria!

Great cheap breakfast with eggs, tomato, sausage, and hash browns. Their meatballs are rather tasty too. They have daily discounts on menu items. Their frozen yogurt for 1$ is one of the best in Calgary believe it or not. It's very tasty!

As-is section sells display models or minimally damaged products so it's a good place to find bargains. Everything in Ikea that I've bought is always excellent quality. They offer a huge variety of modern furniture that will fit any house. Kitchen decor, bedroom decor, or even outdoor patios. Basically, you'll find everything you could ever need here. Would recommend over all other furniture stores.

Ikea is obviously great =P but often their metal products will have small imperfections (such as bent pieces). This can often mean you need to do some DIY bending or even adding height to a table/chair leg with fabric stickers to make things fit or stand properly. For the market hall items, my only recommendation is to check the items sold in small boxes before buying as they can often have imperfections like dents and scratches. It took me a few tries before I found a set of candle holders that didn't have any dents. But it's still amazing for the price and it still gets 5 stars =P

IKEA is very reliable to buy (cheap) furnature and new blankets.
I honestly mostly just come here to see the new setup and to get the free brohure. The food area has evolved into a small supermarket.
You can buy some yummy soft serve ice cream, its nice to get the plushes (like sharky boy).
The lights give a nice ambience and in the early morning it is fun to take some photos without unwanted faces... sorry guys

I love going there even when I don't really need anything.

But don't buy a mattress from there, they aren't a mattress store. Everything else is awesome though.

I bought a coat rack and a little cabinet.
Instructions are clear as alwats, I finished them within 20min.

We love roaming around Ikea, you will find home stuff on very reasonable prices. Good quality, bought study desk for my son and some kitchen utensils. Fast self checkout, friendly staff.
