Real Canadian Superstore 20th Avenue

We got everything on our list and then some. And the young man at the cashier this afternoon was in such a great mood, cheerful & personable. Made our checkout quite enjoyable.
Turned out that his mood was contagious! We ended up cheerful all the way home.

This location always has what I am looking for. The produce stock is usually high. The meat selection usually has what I am looking for at a great price. Our last purchase was mini wraps for our pork tenderloin. Superstore always has the mini wraps.

I always come here for my meat and meat accessories. There's an extremely helpful meat man named Rex who is great with suggestions for cuts of meat and quick to help.

Of course there are other things you can get here, but I'm always here for BBQ season.

They have a great selection of ribs, chicken, various cuts of pork and beef.

They really lack in the prime rib cut, however they do have great value for their various 'lower' tier cuts of pork and beef.

Maggie and the team at customer service were honestly amazing to deal with. We spent about 30 min trying to reach 3 different Superstore locations around the NW area, but I wasn’t getting past the phone line. So, I decided to call this location since I was in the area and they answered the phone right away and was able to answer whatever I was inquiring about.

The lady at self checkout was very helpful. I wasn't prepared to have change to use a cart and I didn't have any bags for my groceries. All employees were helpful in getting me out the door.

I always have no issues here. Stock has been good at least for me. And always had helping hands from staff if needed!

This place is soooo soooper really! The sooperness is real and sooper. Has everything and more, some of the staff don't know enough English to understand anything. Found a local who answered me correctly and I didn't need to speak slowly, using exaggerated annunciation and simpler English.

I enjoy going to this store. Their grocery prices are good and specialty Caribbean groceries can be found here.
The self checkout here are easier to use than other big chain supermarkets particularly for weighing and pricing fruit and vegetable items.

Silent place in the evening. Good choice as usual in the Superstore. Fresh products with moderate price.

Bought some groceries around 9 pm Sep 07, 2023. Just arrived from Toronto by air and drove a rental car. Clean, tidy and friendly.

I use this store fairly regularly now that I am in Calgary, and as promised, I changed my review. Calgarians really are concerned about my plight, and I wanted to share this here. By allowing me to be outside of Superstores, I have received 9 bags of your groceries and 390 of your gift cards. People who donated cash helped me save enough for a damage deposit and first month's rent and I am no longer homeless thanks to Loblaw employees putting people before policy and the amazing generosity of the people in Calgary. You all helped save me and are helping me as I get back on my feet and there is no bigger gifts that a person can give then the gifts of life and hope. Xoxoxo all of you!!!

Everything that I wanted was in stock, I used a self checkout which also worked well, I needed a code for one of my items, an assistant was there immediately to help. No waiting on line for the self checkout which was a bonus.

One stop shopping place, for groceries, dairy and bakery items recommended place.. great alternative of costco as you find almost all items here coz you don’t have to pay for membership just like costco.

Come in early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy grocery shopping the wide aisles all to yourself! Gets really busy starting at around 9:30 AM. Big, big store! Well-stocked.

I just wanted to share my experience while I was at this location. I would like to say that the lady at customer service was obnoxious and absolutely rude. While giving her pointers as the price advertised was misleading, deceiving and falsely advertised; she instead mocked me and walked away.

While I was inquiring about the Manager on Duty- Maruf - assisted me in locating the Manager on Duty to report this unprofessional and obnoxiously rude employee.
Maruf located the Manager on Duty promptly and assisted me the whole way. He apologized on behalf of this employee and reassured me that what happened was NOT ACCEPTABLE by any means. Let me be clear, this would've been a 0 star review if it wasn't for Maruf. Maruf earned this 5 Star Review.

There was an employee named Hannah, she was very very helpful and extremely kind. Exactly what I expect and like to see. Model employee!

It's the Real Canadian Superstore. You know what to expect when you walk in. You know what you're here for.

Now, I like this Superstore as the managers are efficient at putting out clearance to remove excess stock. So many times I have stumbled on some awesome deals that I never found at any other superstores.

Most recently, I struggled to find a Lego Advent Calendar that seem to have sold out. I called this store and the wonderful lady went searching for it and confirmed stock present. I walked out happily clutching the Advent calendar.

Great store. Lotspf selection. Staff is really great

Very good multi-brand superstore to meet almost all daily needs. They do price-match as well if you like.
