I had family visiting from Victoria recently who were after some advice on what wine to buy to go with a particular meal... The woman working there could not have been more helpful.... Also she knew exactly how to help and made an excellent choice for them.... I think, for memory, her name was Amanda.... I would like to note our appreciation of her excellent customer service

No problems with this bottlo. Convenient and friendly staff. While small, all the essentials are covered.

A little pricey but nice shop. Lady working was fine, contrary to the other comments in reviews.

Small shopfront in Port Village Shopping Centre. Staff not helpful. Very expensive. Much cheaper to buy same alcohol at Dan Murphy in Smithfield.

What a rude woman working in this bottle shop.. Her priority was finishing her call on her mobile before attempting to serve us. Her indifferent manner to us as visitors prompted us to shop elsewhere.!
She doesn’t deserve a job!!

Could be so so much better. The fridges were barely stocked, and were extremely messy and disorganised. Was impossible to browse, and impossible to check prices. Not even sure if the beer range was good due to the anarchy. I suppose it would be simple to get standard beers such as XXXX and Carlton, but I doubt any variety or independent craft could be found. Wine range was also basic. I left without buying anything because I wasn't settling for mediocrity.

This place has a $10 markup on Hemingway’s beers that can be purchased literally 500m down the road, my mistake and I won’t be making it again - don’t you either! The staff member who served me was friendly though.

There are 2 bottlemarts very close to Coles. Dont go to the smaller one,the person there had no interest in helping, couldnt be bothered, in fact I would say rude. Its the one that opens at 11 on Sunday and was late. Go to the other one where an older lady and a girl were helpful.

Asked girl on counter if price of Gt Nthn Can 30 pack was $73.00. “Yes that’s correct”
I asked why is it $10 dearer than GN Original?
She said it was because of the alcohol content.
Strange as Crisp is mid while Original is heavy. XXXX Gold was $15 cheaper and so was Crisp everywhere else on line at other retailers. Won’t be buying supplies there again. And she had no personality in the HOSPITALITY BUSINESS😂😂

Check the expiration dates at this store. They have bottles long past the best before date which the woman working refused was an issue as its "only a best before, not an expiry date". Put it right back on the shelf and would refuse to discount or warn customers they are paying full price for expired products

Bought a six-pack of beer and the price was $2 more at the register. Queried it, and they corrected it, but the new price included a card surcharge. Employee explained the boss said that was legal because it is less than 1%. Also legal never to shop here again.

Rudest staff I have ever met. Ask for ID if you think someone is underage, don’t lecture them and the other adults with them when you haven’t even confirmed a persons age. Your job is in customer service, you have the power to refuse alcohol to those under age or intoxicated and that is where your power stops. Rude, ignorant, unpleasant and simply unhappy are the -dópele employed to work this bottle shop.

Woman in the shop is an absolute cow. Come out of coles with a small trolley wanting to get some drinks to go with dinner, only to be told that there are no trolleys allowed. I asked if she could keep an eye on the trolley while I grabbed our drinks and she said no. Asked what I was supposed to do then and was told to leave. Happy to spend my money elsewhere.
