Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa

What a fantastic resort. It was our 1st time in Port Douglas and we could not be happier.
We stayed 7 days on room 121 (2beds 2 baths, swimming pool, bbq area) a true pleasant experience.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, from house keeping that was always happy to come back later if needed, to the pool bar staff who were amazing to deal with.

We were lucky to receive a late check out (12pm) which helps a lot with the kids to enjoy every minute before departure.

I’d highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return in the near future.

This 5-star resort is situated on the secluded beachfront of Four Mile Beach, close to Alexandra Reefs. It offers a large lagoon pool with a bar, an 18-hole golf course, fitness centre and a hot tub. Sea Temple Resort & Spa Port Douglas provides a variety of large, luxury studio rooms and apartments, each with tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a complimentary bathroom and amenities kit. Each features a private bathroom, cable TV and a minibar. Sea Temple’s restaurant overlooks the lagoon pool serves meals and drinks in a relaxed environment. Special children's menus can be arranged for the little ones. Sea Temple Resort & Spa Port Douglas is a 2-minute drive from the Sea Temple Golf & Country Club. The property is located 50 km from Cairns Airport.
The only thing to note is if you want something quiet this place is not for you.Other than that it's amazing !

My husband and I enjoyed an amazing week here and didn’t want to leave. The resort is absolutely stunning with the lagoon a major highlight. The staff are all amazing but I have to give a shout out to Barbara at reception who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so friendly and lovely. Sarah the manager was also great at quickly sorting out a couple of minor issues. We made good use of the poolside bar every day and the staff there were great. The resort restaurant, Aluco had a great range of delicious food and drinks and service was 5 star. The staff were all amazing and we enjoyed chatting and hearing their stories. Our faves were Alvaro and the Irish lady whose name we didn’t catch (absolute legends). The room was spacious and comfortable and housekeeping was great. The pool view rooms were booked out so we stayed in a golf view penthouse with our own rooftop jacuzzi. I am so glad we did because it was more private and away from the noise of the pool. The resort is an easy ten minute drive from beautiful Port Douglas and the resort offers a fantastic shuttle service for those who don’t have a car or want to enjoy a few drinks. The on-site day spa offers a good range of services. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we have lifelong memories and hope to visit again soon.

Positives: very good service. They care about a good experience and they are quick to act on requests. The villas are beautiful clean and the air conditioning is powerful enough to really cool down every section.

The hotel can work on improving the breakfast. The food quality for breakfast is not great. Perhaps reducing the buffet to menu items to improve quality can be an option. Dinner and lunch quality is very good though and service again is amazing

My now husband and I were married at the Pullman Port Douglas last Thursday and it was way better than what we could have ever imagined! Our ceremony was held on the beach followed by our reception on the Lagoon View Terrace and the after party in the Temple Room. The amazing Conference and Events team (Laura, Sarah, Michela) went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! I cannot thank them enough, from coming to check on us at arrival, to giving us a big hug on the day of our wedding, these lovely ladies made the planning process and days leading up so easy! Our room was fabulous! The ceremony was beautiful and our reception looked amazing! The food at our reception was amazing and had many of our guests commenting that it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. If you’re planning a wedding and are after a team that will go above and beyond and make your planning process so easy, I encourage you to give the lovely Conference and Events team a call! You won’t regret it!

We had our wedding at the Pullman recently and wanted to share a HUGE thank you to everyone who was involved with making our day so special! It was the perfect venue, with our guests making the most of the restaurants, rooms and facilities available at Sea Temple. We had so much praise from all our guests. We also wanted to share a massive thanks to the event coordinator teams. The girls were fantastic in planning our big day from the moment we reached out to them. If anyone is contemplating a Cairns/Port Douglas wedding I'd recommend the Pullman Port Douglas!

We stayed 11 days in this beautiful resort and enjoyed every moment. This is just as much a perfect getaway for either couples or families.
All resort staff were fantastic, a special shout out though to the following who went out of their way: Robin, Leana, Matthew, Alvaro and all the chefs.
Definitely one of the best resorts we have stayed at.

The Pullman Sea Temple Port Douglas is a fantastic resot with great staff. All aspects of our experience here were positive. We loved the room, the pool area and the buffet breakfast.

Claudia from front office provided amazing customer service and personalised hospitality, offering to do the checkin process in Italian. Very happy with the room upgrade as well, exceeded my expectations - much more spacious, luxurious and well equipped compared to the Sheraton, such a good value overall. Pool and pool area could be cleaned more thoroughly and illuminated at night time.

My daughter's wedding was on the beach and reception on the boardwalk, everything was absolutely magical, the staff made sure we were all well looked after, highly recommended. Our stay at the Pullman was perfect I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed with may wife and 4 kids in a 3 bedroom villa. Very expensive for us, but we decided to spoil ourselves...

Villa was huge! Clean and tidy, had everything we needed, plunge pool was bigger than we thought too and we could go to sleep to the sounds of rolling waves from the beautiful nearby beach.

Buffet was delicious, lagoon pool was amazing, and our 5 year olds enjoyed a swim in the shallow end or the shaded kids pool. Pool bar offered some good options for fussy our eaters with chips burgers and battered fish, while their restaurant was more suited for adults only.

Will definely stay here again if we can find a cheaper package.

I recently had my wedding at the Pullman Sea Temple in Port Douglas and WOW was it magical. From the start of the planning process, Laura, Michela and the whole events team were so easy to communicate with, always only a phone call or email away, willing to answer my questions and provide suggestions. When we arrived at the resort a complimentary bottle of prosecco and fruit platter was found in our room fridge, accompanying a lovely letter from Laura and Michela. On the day of the wedding everything flowed so smoothly, from being picked up in a buggy to be transported down to the ceremony location on the beach, to the set up of the ceremony and reception, to the service at the reception that was exceptional (no one ever had an empty glass). I didn't have to worry or think about a thing on the wedding day, the staff took care of it all. All the guests were raving about how delicious the food at the reception was, because I wasn't to hungry on the day (wedding gitters) they offered to take what I hadn't eaten back to the room for me to eat later that night, amazing! I would highly recommend the sunrise boardwalk for reception, it was an absolutely stunning location, felt like we were in a fairy tale. You can see and hear the ocean from the boardwalk whilst eating dinner, as night comes fairy lights light the board walk and path back to the resort, spectacular, it just kept getting better and better. After reception we had the after party in the temple room, another amazing location, I would highly recommended as this is when the party truely starts on the dance floor. I would like to say a huge thank-you to Laura, Michela and all the staff at Pullman Sea Temple. Everyone made us feel and our stay so special. We came here for a dinner at the restaurant, we had excellent service and the waiter Alvaro, was going out of his way to make our experience the most memorable. The quality of the food was outstanding and the taste was impeccable ! Very much recommend and we had a lovely visit! (Also recommend getting the beef carpaccio🤤)

We had a wonderful long weekend escape from winter. The resort is beautiful, we had a lovely room overlooking the incredible pool and gardens.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful, a big thanks to Jazmin who looked after us at the pool bar every day. She was personable and fun, a real hospitality superstar. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we look forward to returning!

Stayed here as part of a recent wedding party. From start to finish the Pullman staff were absolutely incredible. The rooms were amazing, staff so lovely and accomodating at all times. We absolutely loved our time here. It was the perfect place to base ourselves for our first ever family holiday in Port Douglas. It was located close to many wonderful attractions, too many for us to visit in one week - so we will have to come back! It was always so nice coming back to relax in and by the spectacular pool after heading out to explore. A big thank you to Jazmin who provided amazing service & delicious drinks and cocktails at the poolside bar during our stay. We would highly recommend this resort!

The Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple is an excellent place to stay. Our two bedroom apartment was equipped with a full kitchen complete with all cooking utensils, a large fridge and a dishwasher. There is also a pod type coffee maker. Next to the fridge is a small laundry area complete with a washing machine, dryer and sink. Very handy if you prefer not to take your dirty clothes home to clean.

There is a large dining table next to the kitchen which can accommodate six people. The spacious lounge area has a sofa, coffee table, audio system and television. If you walk through the glass doors to the covered balcony, you'll find another living area which has a sofa and chairs for 4-6 people.

How this apartment differentiates itself from others is the very large private rooftop entertainment area accessed from a spiral stairwell from the balcony. The outside area is covered with artificial grass and has sun lounges, a barbecue, sink and its own jacuzzi.

The Pullman has a very large pool, a restaurant and is located by the beach. There is also parking available. The main shopping area however is probably a bit far to walk to.

I only had a short stay so there are probably other on-site facilities which I didn't have the opportunity to utilise.

If I return to Port Douglas, I would stay here again.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Pullman in September. We stayed 5 nights in the penthouse apartment.

Rooms were immaculate and well equipped. Our wedding venue (lagoon view terrace) was amazing!

We couldnt speak highly enough of Laura, Sarah and Michela, our wedding coordinators. Attention to detail, organisation and communication was exceptional. Thankyou again!

This is a beautiful resort we had a one bedroom over looking the pool .. great breakfast.. a little out of town. There is a Shuttle bus that picks you up and takes you to town .. easy and efficient..

We enjoyed a wonderful 10 day stay at Sea Temple. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff were lovely. Our room had lovely decor, was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Although a little out of town, the local shuttle bus service was great so getting around Port Douglas was easy. We would love to come back soon.
